How close to your birthday do you need to be? I'm going on December 6-13 and my birthday is December 4. Can I still get a button?

They don't ask for any proof of birth. If you are celebrating at the parks, go for it!

Can you get one at each park, or is it only Magic Kingdom?
As we are going a week before our daughters Bday and we are celebrating it there, and we are going to ALL the parks.

It's the same button, but you can get it at all the parks and at the resorts too. If you're staying on property, you can tell them on your reservation or when you check in that it is her birthday, they should be able to give you the button right there.

It's always a good idea to let the cast know when you're celebrating anything and everything... even if you think it might be considered trivial... you never know what magical moments await you unless you do! (even if it's not a button)

Most cast members will be able to help, but for a guarantee, go to any guest service location (to the left at the entrance of all the parks).

We are going to be at WDW for our DD's " Sweet Sixteen" on July 12th! Does anyone know,by some chance,if they have a " Sweet Sixteen " button or do we just need to get a regular birthday button & make a " Sweet Sixteen " for her? Thanks!
Question: How many Imagineers does it take to change a light bulb?
Answer: Does it have to be a light bulb?

When we were there in November, the buttons had changed a bit. It's no longer the generic birthday button. They now have a spot to write your name and age (if so desired!) in magic marker.

Well, I noticed i posted in this thread before, but never posted my experience.

A while back, it was my birthday while visiting the happiest place on Earth. Somehow, my parents made some calls, and I was treated like a Disney Princess! Every restaurant we went to had a present for me, and characters too! All my parents did was make the calls, they didn't even need to pay for ANYTHING (ahem..when you spend THAT much to go to Disney, they should treat you this way)
We got awesome seats at every place we went, and whenever we got their, they would make an announcement that i had arrived(lol like anybody knew who i was)

It was pretty awesome, they also gave me extra treats/goodies and A picture of my favorite character signed!

I am sure that if you make it clear that it is your birthday, Disney wil make your special day the BEST one ever.
Just got back from WDW yesterday! What a spectacular trip!!! My DD's " Sweet Sixteen " was a HUGE success!!!!! Of course the whole trip was great, but her day was extra special!!! When we got to the resort ( All Star Music ) we got a birthday button at the front desk and then went on over to the concierge desk and spoke to a wonderful young lady named Ashley. We told her about our DD's " Sweet Sixteen " in two days. She said that she would be very happy to take care of everything. We did not quite know what " everything " meant, but were soon to find out! Before it was all over she had recieved balloons, roses, a Minnie Mouse plush, key chains, a tee shirt, etc.!!! She was wished and sang happy birthday to just about everywhere we went! But the best was when we were at The Magic Kingdom for early opening on her b-day! We were at the front of the line just before rope drop and there were about 300-400 people behind us. The cast member that was there got everyone to sing happy birthday to her!!! She was blushing, but in heaven! We also got one of the " Year of a Million Dreams " prizes in Epcot two days later, but I will have to go into that more later because I have to get back to work now! Absolutely SPECTACULAR trip!!!!! Thank you Disney!!!!!!!!!! And thank you to everyone that posted tips on this thread!!!
