The first mention of building a Walt Disney park, beside the original Disneyland, was probably in the Frank Sinatra film of 1959 "A Hole In The Head". In the film, Sinatra plays a widower in deep debt trying to get financial backing to build a Disneyland in Florida. Is it possible that this gave Walt the idea of building in Florida? It's possible.
