No bugs in WDW...

I've seen bugs at the resorts and one time at Blizzard Beach the bugs were so bad we ended up leaving.

Yeah, but they aren't too friendly when they are biting you repeatedly or crawling around your hotel room!

When my family went in 2006 we were waiting in line, and a weird bug came and bit my mom... She has a scar the size of like a nickel now where it bit her!

Love bugs are the twice yearly curse that afflicts the southern region. They swarm and mate and ruin car paint and car radiators. They are a nuisance and they love the color white, large bodies of water, and any other light colored surface. They have an acid like enzyme that can ruin car paint in just days if it is not washed off. Check out the front of big trucks next time you are on the southern raodways during love bug season-it is really gross. Thousands of dead bugs splattered on the front. If they get in your house they crawl around on the lightest colored thing they can find, it's pretty creepy.

Love bugs are terrible. I know they don't bite, but when we were there in September, they would crawl in our clothing. I know WDW would do something about them if they could.

There are plenty of bugs (even crickets) and birds in WDW. However, the nasty ones are usually controlled by natural predators. I have been at WDW many times when there were cautions about mosquitos and the West Nile virus. Haven't heard about the spearmint spray. Personally, I prefer Juicy Fruit.

Wouldn't Juicy Fruit attract the bugs....LOL Maybe they are using the Juicy Fruit in the wooded areas, drwing the bugs over to their natural predators...

I agree Love Bugs are the worst to me. They don't care where they land, or where they fly, they just are. When I lived in Florida, our car would get covered in them during their season. YUK. I used to hate going out side, cause you never knew when one or two were going to land on you.

This was years ago, but I got stung by a bee (on the fingertip) at Hollywood Studios outisde of Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular. I remember it swelling and looking absolutely ridiculous, but Cast Members were super sweet and asked if I needed anything.

I've seen a few bugs, I saw a mosquito once. I've seen a few cockroaches on It's A Small World. I almost didn't want to ride once I saw the cockroach, but I braved it, because I didn't want to get all the way back in the ride. I've never seen anything else though.

Cocroahces on It's a Small World!? Ew. We once had them in my hotel room at the All-Star Sports.....myself, 5 of my friends and my mom and aunt all had to change hotel room at 2 AM because they couldn't find it anywhere! It was pretty nasty, and fast too!
