If you are not staying on site and are really adverse to paying parking at any of the parks you can park at Downtown Disney for the day. It is free and it is not taking away guest parking at any of the resorts. You can then take the Disney buses from there. Not super quick and it will add time rather than saving you time, but you will not have to pay for parking.

this too isn't kosher and is the main reason why you can not get a bus directly to the parks.

If a person has to try and beat a $9 fee for parking then maybe they shouldn't be going to Disney in the first place.

My suggestion was not to encourage beating the system but an alternative one to doing something that is completely against Disney rules - parking at a resort when you are not a guest and not there to dine.

Possibly there are those who are on a limited budget, Disney is a once in a lifetime trip and that $9.00 could be useful for something else - like buying their child lunch or maybe an inexpensive souvenier.

So families who do not have a lot of money should not go to Disney then? How sad that someone would think that.
