I'll be there in January too, you're going to have a great time!
By the way, there are going to be about 7 thousand awe-struck 15 year old girls running around in Disney mercandise too, so you'll fit right in![]()
Ok, I'm going to Disney World for the first time ever in January!!!! (If you happen to be there in that month, just look for a fifteen year old girl running around awe struck like a seven year old wearing complete Disney merchandize and you'll know it's me).
Anyways, I was on hiddenmickeys.org and was looking up secrets on Tom Sawyer Island and people mentioned ways to get to the burning house and other places on the island by way of secret passages. I was wondering if anyone knows of any other secret passages or any other ways to get to really cool, secret areas in the Magic Kingdom part of Disney. I'm absolutely fascinated by all the secrets and legends associated with Disney and I can't wait to go!

Hm I've never heard of this "passage." I am not sure it is true but who knows. Anything can happen right?
Well, one good passage is one from Mickey's Toontown Fair to Tomorrowland. It is in the WAAAAY back. You have to go to the train station in Toontown Fair and it leads into a nice little back entrance to Tomorrowland. It is fairly uncrowded 99% of the time.
I never knew it existed before I saw it on DVD lol.
I hope you have an AMAZING time!!
Hey, guys, thanks for getting back to my post!!! I'll definately use that uncrowded route to ToonTown since I don't like crowds much, lol, but I'll have to get used to them in Disney World. Thank you so much for wishing me a good trip and I can't wait to go!

Yes, you do get to see the burning cabin from the Liberty Belle, but it's so much more awesome seeing it up close! What rides do you recommend? I wanted to go on 20,000 leagues, but alas, it's been replaced by some commercial-fueled toddler jungle gym

hahaha, thanks, doughitmcnuggit!! It's sooo sad that they replaced such an awesome ride (I went on the one in Disney Land) with something like that.
Next thing you know, they're going to be changing the Pirates of the Caribbean map-brandishing pirate's lines from "This map says X marks the spot, but I be seein' no X's afore me" to the more kid-friendly and morally suitable "Yarrrr, remember to eat your veggies, kids, yar-har!"
Even though the ride has just re-opened and now features Jack Sparrow popping out of the barrel behind this map carrying pirate, it won't be long before the movie franchise gets old--I mean, how long before Jack Sparrow becomes out-dated?--and the McDonald's logo replaces him rising out of the barrel.
I'm sad thinking about it![]()
Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me
We pillage, we plunder, we rifle and loot
Drink up me hearties, yo ho
We kidnap and ravage and don't give a hoot
Drink up me hearties, yo ho
Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me
We extort, we pilfer, we filch and sack
Drink up me hearties, yo ho
Maraud and embezzle and even high-jack
Drink up me hearties yo ho
Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me
We kindle and char, inflame and ignite
Drink up me hearties, yo ho
We burn up the city, we're really a fright
Drink up me hearties, yo ho
We're rascals, scoundrels, villains, and knaves
Drink up me hearties, yo ho
We're devils and black sheep, really bad eggs
Drink up me hearties, yo ho
Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me
We're beggars and blighters and ne'er do-well cads
Drink up me hearties, yo ho
Aye, but we're loved by our mommies and dads
Drink up me hearties, yo ho
