Photos on Rides!!!!

im not sure how well this will go, but i always like to find the cameras that take your pictures on the rides. normally i can find it while im riding and then pose but sometimes it's a little difficult. so i decided, why not do a thread about where the cameras are so we all know where to pose!


so i'll start off w/ a couple of my favorite rides to pose!


Splash Mountain- where else but right at the top of Chick-a-pin Hill!!!

Dinosaur- it's kinda obvious when you ride it once, but it's difficult to face the camera. there's a flash when you come up to the giant carnosaurus (i belive that is what it's called). thought im not sure, but i think if you look straight ahead instead of at the lizard, that is where the camera is.

Tower of Terror- now i'm not so sure anymore about this one, but i think it is the first time that you come back up from the fall (as in u fall, then come back up, big flash, fall). no idea where the camera is.

that's just a few of them. don't want to post all of them. and i most likely am wrong on the 2 that i said "think" so please correct me

I,ve never noticed where the camera is on most rides.........................I,m too busy screaming ...or shutting my eyes.....but looking at the ones I had done by the "photographers " in the parks & the ones taken on rides too..........the best ones are the natural./unposed for ones ....where you,re just enjoying yourself

I don't want to spoil too much for those who haven't ridden EE, but I'll tell you this much: the picture is taken after you see the Yeti's shadow and are just about to see the light. That's all I'm gonna say hehe.

Test Track has the picture taken just before you think you're going to bust through the wall. A cool feature of the picture is if you look closely, there is a Hidden Mickey in the photo. It's on the right hand side (as you're looking at the photo).

Rock n' roller coaster: they take your picture as you take off after they do the countdown thing

i love the rides they take your picture on, I know where all the cameras are so i always smile for the camera!

I do a funny picture.

However, when me and all my friends went on Splash Mountain.

Let's say our picture wasn't exactly WDW appropriate so it got "Washed Away"

My sister's students were "kind enough" to let us have the front row on EE since they had all rode it already and were also kind enough to do some lovely poses behind us for the camera. They all bought the picture in the end b/c of course my sister(their dance director) and myself were scared silly on our first ride ever! I guess they thought it could be blackmail! :o)

funny story about the Rock&Rollercoaster one. but too long to explain so never mind

DLR used to let people get a free fast pass type ride if their picture did not come out due to nature of the picture. Not sure if they do it but worth a shot. You stand in line and then ride only to find the picture is not safe to be seen.

I think Tower of Terror was at the top but I do know it did get placed so they showed graphic details of people in terror and clutching loved ones. "honey, I cannot breath, gasp".

my favorite is on ToT i always keep the straightest face and cross my arms so it looks like i;m totally bored. and everyone else is freaking out in the picture, but after the picture, i can't help but join in the freak out.
