Muppet Vision Key

I saw the key. It is definately under there. Don't steal the key. there is a hidden security camrea over top of you. Muppet Vision 3-D Rocks!

I'm pretty sure it is glued down, like anything else (stealable) in Disney. They use this super tough glue, that i doubt you will be able detach. Good try though!

It's a great gag. And one of the cutest ever!!! I love it I just wish the cast members would play it up more.

I head about they key...I just never go a chance to look under the mat. I would if we were waiting in line to see Muppet Vision 3-D, I don't want to hold up the line to see it I'll make sure next time we go early so I can see the key. Does anyone have a picture?

It is actually one of the many props above in the pre-show room. Not in the pre-show itself.

Also, towards the front there is a box of flat, playwood made fruit with a sign that says 2D Fruities. Think about it.

Just a weird little fact but the name of the attraction is Jim Henson's Muppet*Vision 3D but the door that Kermit opens in the beginning of the film says Kermit the Frog Presents Muppet*Vision 3D. Must have changed the name after it was filmed.

Not sure if I read that right but I think Sledge refers to "a net full of jello" as being part of the pre-show jokes (got the reference, you need to say it out loud to fully appreciate it!) Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

We'll be at MGM tommorrow. I've read about this numerous times on this board, but never remember to check it out when I'm there (probably too busy checking out every showing of HSM-PepRally bwahahahaha! ) Anyway, I'm gonna check this out for sure tomorrow, and I will get a pic. (I will step aside so as not to hold up the line too much, but I don't let people shove me aside when I'm trying to look at something- they can just go around me, I'm not too picky about my place in line)

We showed my five year old nephew the key last week when we were there. It was pretty cool and he even got a Magical Moments Certificate for finding the key! That was really cool!

I was just there the first week of March and I picked the mat up to look for the key and I didn't see it! I was so bummed Is it a real key or painted on the floor? I was hoping to get to see it! If anyone has pics I would love to see them.

The key is actually imbedded into the carpet. It's always there. It shouldn't be hard to spot, but it's usually towards the middle of the area that the mat covers...

i'm in disney world right now and when I go to MGM I'm planning on looking for the key :-) I can't wait!

Our last trip in June-July, We looked for the key. If there is no crowd, you can take your time going in the pre-show and look behind the turnstile and pull back the mat and find it there. It was fun to see the key at last.

When You first go into the building, and before You head down the hallway, there is a old movie theater turnstile to Your right, next to a window, the mat is behind the turnstile. Lift it up and You will see the key stuck to the floor.
