I love Pop, I love that it is very colorful and it easy for bus transportation. I love the layout. I have gone through places like the contempary and it just looks boring. At Pop and the All-Stars the themeing is great and alot of fun for the kids and adults as well.

I love the Contemporary. You can't beat the location and the 10 minute walk to the Magic Kingdom. It's so great to be able to wake up in the morning and look out your window at the Castle. It was by far the best one i've stayed in!

Animal Kingdom Lodge is tops for me. The restaurants, the view of the animals, . . . so relaxing.
But really, can you go wrong with any of the resorts?
-
My Favorite Resort used to be the old Key west but 1 trip to the Baoardwalk Inn has made that place my favorite place to Stay. It is because it is just a hops skip and a Jump from Epcot or a short boat ride from the MGM Studios. It is also the Home of the ESPN CLub. So to say the least I cannot wait till my family and I can go there.

i'm going with old key west. can't beat the parking and i the theming just really goes with what i'm looking for when i go on vacation.

The Polynesian!
+ It's on the monorail
+ The South Seas atmosphere
+ Tiki torches lighting the way at night
+ The Great Ceremonial House
In comparison, I find the Grand Floridian dull and the Contemporary, well, not polynesian enough.
I still don't know why anyone would want to stay off of the monorail line.

Well different people have different tastes. I think it's good to stay at different resorts every time you go to disney. you have to experience what each resort has to offer. it sounds like you prefer the benefit of the monorail system because you don't have to wait long for buses, which is understandable. but you should try staying at a moderate or value resort if you haven't already. every disney resort has something unique that gives it its magic!

out of where i've stayed, i'd have to go Animal Kingdom Lodge. waking up and seeing a Giraffe grazing is just awesome!
-
My very first trip was to the Contemporary, which was cool with the monorail going through the resort (of course this was back when there was only 3 resorts in the 70's). Then on all subsequent trips we stayed at the Polynesian which was beautiful (again only 3 resorts there!). Went back in 2003 for the first time in 15 years and we stayed at the Wilderness Lodge Villas. I love the WLV. It feels like you are in them middle of nowhere! Then the last 3 times we have stayed at OKW. Love OKW. The rooms are HUGE! It is especially nice when you have room to stretch out with your family.
So I guess you can say my faves are WLV and OKW.
