Gosh... you have no clue how insanely jealous this makes me! I want to go at Christmas time so badly, but living in South Dakota on a limited budget, it really isn't possible. I might get to go for a day. My dad is a truck driver and takes loads to Ocala quite often, so he said we could have a father daughter day at WDW during Christmas. Let's hope it works out!
My name is Emily and I am addicted to Walt Disney World. There, I said it and I'm proud.
Louis Mongello, you are my hero! Moving to St. Petersburg, FL in November!!!
I will be at WDW every two weeks then... I can't wait!

I love Christmas time at Disney. My Family goes every year through new years. Seems like everyone has made great suggestions already. The only other thing I can think of that has not been mentioned which I am sure you would plan to see anyways is the illuminations fireworks at Epcot. They usually do a really nice display after the normal fireworks to "peace on earth". It is really pretty!

Are there fireworks that go along with Peace On Earth?

This is on topic but kinda off topic. Does anyone know where I can find out about ingredients in the cookies and hot cocoa they give out at MVMCP? I don't want to get my daughter excited about that unless I can be sure she can have them. Usually the people I talk to when I call don't seem to know anything about that stuff. It would be nice to know before we get there.

What kind of cookies are they?
-
I don't know but my daughter has the milk allergy, so if they are chocolate chip then I know she can't have those.

That darn Milk allergy!!!! I am lactose intolerant. Does that count?
-
Lactose intolerance can be bad, but not quite the same. I'm sure the Disney people will come through in true magical fashion.

They always do. Don't they?
-
We can't wait to go back to Liberty Tree Tavern. We are going there the same night as MVMCP. She can't wait to eat the brownies they have there. They really do come through.

Information on the Yuletide Fantasy tour is available here: http://www.allearsnet.com/btp/tours.htm#yul. I took it with Kellie last year, it was a very nice tour. Haven't heard anything about it being cancelled, and I do remember not finding anything on the Disneyworld.com site last year. Best bet is to call 407-wdw-tour for more information.

We can hear the normal illuminations in Celebration at 9 every night, so it gets a bit louder about Christmas.
I LOVE the "peace on Earth" ending. Just feeling your insides shake is just pretty special.
As for the cookies, last year they were sugar cookies. :-)

They were sugar cookies in 2004 and 2001 too.
