I believe the problem lies in IE. I am using Safari and Camino (a mozilla client) and having no problem. Another user switched to Firefox and was able to do everything also.

So if you have Firefox on your PC try that

Brian, i'm not very computer technical, does IE = internet explorer? Its just i've never heard of Safari, Camino or Firefox so i'm a bit confused about how to try and get around the problem?

I had the same problem till I added this site to my list of approved internet sites. (update here: I was only able to reply to the first thead I tried after the adjustment. The next thread didn't allow me to reply, though I was able to post a quick reply. The editing didn't work smoothly either. It looks like it is editing, but then it doesn't take you back to the non-edit page.

Yes, IE is internet explorer. Safari and Camino are Apple (Mac) browsers.

Firefox can be found at Firefox web browser | Faster, more secure, & customizable

Will we only be able to start new posts if we don't have IE? I don't really want to downlowd stuff to my computer as we work off a school server and they have rules. Or is it going to be fixed?

Not a problem. Thanks for letting us know Lou is working on the Kinks, had no way of knowing otherwise. I could see others had changed browsers etc. way out of my realm without a step by step post of How To Do. There are ton's of us out there with IE, add I have Vista, so it just so much fun (err) to start with. It was good to see a few more members being able to get on the current user list.

Window IE users can not post reply OR quote. They can only POST QUICK REPLY. They can not click on go advanced and they can not create new threads.

No one can use PMs it seems.
