Hi everyone! Hope you are enjoying the forums! I'm going to introduce a completely new section to the site very soon, but first, a little business.

I truly hate to have to do this, but as you may have seen, there is now a rotating banner ad at the bottom of the forums, as well as Google ads. Belive me, I detest these, but the cost of running the site has become quite substantial. The new dedicated server incurs a pretty sizable monthly cost, and since I said that I would never ask for "handouts" or "donations" as other sites do, I was forced to try and defray some of my out of pocket expenses.

They are here for now only on a trial basis. If I feel that they become too intrusive or simply do not work well, I will do my best to remove them. (I do not gain any financial benefit from the banner ad at this time - it is only to drive traffic to the site).

I once again apologize for having to place these here at this time. Please understand that they are not here in an attempt to gain aprofit form the site - I do what I do out of my intrerest in WDW and have only placed these here to offset some of my out of pocket costs. Again, they are here only on a trial basis.

Thanks for your understanding, and I would appreciate any feedback you may have. As always, "my door is always open", so PM or e-mail me if you like.

The amount and where you have them are fine. I don't like the sites where you can't find the info you want becasue of the ads.

Please do me a favor and never again apologize for any decision you make concerning this web site. This is your brain child and the product of your own sweat, blood, and tears. We are here because we choose to be. We are not about to abandon ship because of a few ads. Nobody in their right mind would expect you to foot the expense out of your own pocket. So please, no more apologies.

Do whatever you have to do to keep this site free for all the Triviateers.

As I have stated previously, I did not want this great website to turn into a site for the "Have's" and the "Snobs" like on another site I used to frequent. However, please no pop-up ads!

To tell you the truth I never even noticed the ads. As xharryb said, we're not going anywhere.

Thanks to all of your for your understanding and support. I tried to keep the site ad-free, but added them not only to help offset my very high costs of running the site, but to offer products and services (such as the Disney Ink Shop, Laughing Place store, DVC by Resale, etc.) that I believe would interest and be helpful to our visitors. Purchases from those sponsors helps, while simply clicking on and visiting the links ion the Google ads is extremely helpful.

Anyway, these particular ads don't bother me, you should not have to pay a bunch of out of pocket costs to keep us up and running, and I am so glad this site is here and FUN and HAPPY and INFORMATIVE that I certainly don't mind a couple of small ads in order to keep it going!!!

So keep it up, keep the ads if you need to, but don't hand around the collection plate to us....
