have you tried tried landscape view? it makes the "box" bigger and easier to click on. I sometimes have to click twice (i have fat fingers) the 2nd time I touch it "lighter". this usually brings up the keyboard..

I always keep it in landscape, but I've hit the "Post Reply" button and I've tried just tapping on the quick reply box. So far I haven't gotten it to open the keyboard, I'm on the iOS4 update as well. I don't know, maybe it's just my iPod. Still bugs me though that I can't post.
have you tried the "quick reply" box? I didn't upgrade to iOS4 on my touch, maybe that's why I can post?
