Been using Firefox and getting that pop-ups are being blocked. However, once or twice I have received that warning. I close the browser and reopen and don't get it. But I also get a warning on my scans after that happens. I guess I will write down what it stays and email Lou about it the next time it happens.
Norton told me that an attack on my computer was blocked after I logged in.
Safari is normally pretty good. If you are using a Mac, I think it should be pretty safe. I have never heard of someone using a Mac getting a virus.
It has actually been worse this evening for me this evening.
On the links on the side it is over taking the normal Lou stuff and making announcements that I've Won. Click here. Been here long enough to know this isn't how Lou operates his sight so I wasn't fooled. :mickeykid
I keep getting blocked messages as I try and go to different threads or profiles.
I use Mozilla Firefox at home and at work. No problems in either place.
I use IE and the warning pops up for every new page - I just override it, but it's annoying!
Subscribing, to stay updated on this subject. My computer says the site is dangerzone, too.

A-ha! So it's not just me, it's been blocking me for a while now, I had to remove my "SmartScreen filter" at home in order to even see the page.
Forget about logging on from work, ESET tells me no can do and doesn't even load the page. It tells me it's been quarantined.
I emailed Lou on the 10th, I guess the virus is still kicking around. From what I Googled, it's on the server where this site is hosted (unless I completely misunderstood, which is possible, this computer stuff makes me glaze over).
Thanks for letting me know about this. I have been looking into it and I can assure you that the site IS safe, but for some reason something is triggering an alert on some anti-virus and security software packages. We're investigating this further, (as it's likely a simple patch)
Tell me please:
- Is it the ENTIRE site or just the forums?
- Is it just Firefox?
- Are the popups just coming from this site? Is it the forums only?

Lou, I'm using Mozilla Firefox at home and right now at work. No problems at all. I just switched over to IE to check, no problems at all.
Lou, Safari has no problems whatsoever.

:lol: All I'd have to do is click to find out more, obviously I didn't. It has taken over the entire LINK box on the right side of the main forum page.
Also I got a pop up as I signed on for an outside advertising. Covered the main page.
I have had this both on Fire Fox and IE, nothing wrong happens on my
I-Touch. I run McAfee if that is any help.
I use Microsoft ForeFront Client Security for my anti-virus stuff. Tend to use FireFox for the browser and it will come up occasionally. I wish I had copied exactly what it said. I will try to remember again exactly what it says before I do the scan.
