Last night I got home at 9:30 and was sawing logs by 9:45. Sorry I missed you guys, but you weren't high on my priority list last night. Maybe Tuesday.

May I make a suggestion, that you maybe start the chat night earlier next week.
I'm a kid, & I have to turn off my PC at 9EST every night. So I'd never be able to catch it. What about starting at 8EST, or even 7EST?
Just a sugesstion.
Chat is open 24/7, so you may set up a chat time at your convenience. Not everyone is able to chat during our regular chat times...people like you, people across the pond, people who work evenings/midnights, etc. Also, sometimes people do show up early for chat nights just as much as people stay late.
Our chat nights have been running at 9:00 PM for over two and a half years now, the time has been pretty well established.
Anyone in the UK time zone who would like to chat on Tuesdays and Thursdays, I usually check in at about 9pm our time. That would make it around 4PM EST time. I tried last night, but my chat wasn't working again.
I'd love to chat with you UK types!
If y'all ever decide on a day/time that works for several of you, please let those of us across the pond know. I would imagine some of us can chat earlier.
same days and same times work for me, just our local time instead (GMT), anyone else up for that?
:chat:
Allegedly, we speak all speak English here. It's definitely a subject for debate though!
I've been chatting online for years with Brits, Canadians, Aussies, and Kiwis that I have picked up quite a few of their "isms." Not anywhere close to knowing all of them mind you.
As a matter of fact, I have to frequently catch myself adding extra U's to words...especially the word "behaviour." I do find myself telling people to "queue up" instead of "line up." :dizzy: Plus, I enjoy learning about different cultures and perspectives and what's a better way than talking with people?
