Boards have been really slow for me

The boards have been really really slow for me lately, it use to happen every once in awhile but now it's everyday. I don't notice it on other sites so I don't think it's my computer. I can always tell when it's going to be slow because I get a whole heading above the "user CP/Chat/FAQ/Member's List etc bar" it looks like this...

also when I go to copy and paste something the screen goes blank and I have to wait between 1 and 2 minutes for it come back with what I pasted. Can anyone help??http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r...lp/HelpSOS.gif
