Why can't get chat to work

I've tried several times to get to chat on chat night but it keeps telling me to log on and I do and still nothing happens. I can't log on and still watch folks posting online chat. Now it won't do anything, even show Lou. HELP!!

There is a glitch. Many of us have been blocked out, sometimes for over a week. It shows your name as in chat but you cannot post. Won't let you try again. So far the only way I've seen someone get a second shot was to use another member name. Sorry. Maybe some techie for the site will see your post. Sorry, feel your pain.

When it did that to me I reloaded the newest form of Java Apps (whatever that is) and then it worked. But i did have to lower one of my security settings.
