Which countdown are you having a problem with?
Once you create your v50.net countdown on their website, you just copy and paste the Bulletin Board code they give you right into your signature.

Well, I've tried it 5 times now, and the actual countdown timer doesn't show up in siggie, just the highlighted part does.

The v50 countdown does NOT continously countdown. It only provides a snapshot.
The countdown does change each time you sign on though.
