Uploading problems
Alrighty - I dont consider myself computer-dumb - BUT - I can't figure out what is going on!
I want to upload some photos - so I go to the upload section - I find it on my computer - I press upload - it takes a minute or so then goes to the next page and says something about picture directory or something - then goes to the my album page - BUT THERE IS NOTHING THERE! - so I search for my picture and it did not upload!
WHAT IS GOING ON!!!
help please,
a slightly stressed out Beth

I'm 'suffering' the exact same problems.
-
Well it is making me CRAZY :dizzy:
either that or the fact that I have a show that opens in 2 days... or that I just payed A LOT of money to have my car "toulouse" fixed... or that I just had to have a 2 hour conversation with the girl who is REPLACING me at work... FUN! :yahoo:
wow. it would be the highlight of my day to be able to post a picture on this site. please help me and 20k from the UK. wow - that is a lot of fun to say. I am rhyming. Hey.

It might be because the pic is too big. Please limit your pics sizes to fairly small. I think the limit i is 250x250 pixels.
-
I find that 300x300 works really well......
-
I have found I am able to do 800x600 photos
-
Beth,
IM or PM me and I'll help you through this...
Deep breaths... it'll be all right - I promise! :)
-
I also have the same problems. I will try shrinking the pics down and see if that helps.

I did that great deep breaths thing that Lou suggested and it worked :)
YAY!

I have tried resizing my photos, but I'm still unable to get them uploaded. Any other suggestions?

I'm having a similar uploading problem, I put the photo that I want to upload in the file space, when I click upload, it takes about ten seconds and then it pops up that this page cannot be displayed. Anyone know how to fix this?

seriouslydw.... I had the same problem last week. (I see the other posts were from last year. )
You need to resize the photo based on pixels. Just shrinking it won't work.
As Nathan said here and Lou told me last week, 600X800 pixels and smaller will work.
If you need more help, let us know.
