Countdown Timer

Are we limited to one countdown timer per signature? I tried to add another one, but wasn't able to due the 900 character limit. No biggie if we can't.

i can increase the character limit, but I tried to keep it reasonable so sigs weren't oo long. I''ll increase it and let me know if that helps

It didn't work. I'll just stick to one countdown.

The length of the countdown scripts is pretty long, so trying to use two easily goes over character the limit you set.

OK so I have been working on this timer thing since my LAST trip in Jan. and now for the one in June, but to no avail. I am sure it is operator error but oh well.......

Are you sure you're using the basic editor and copying and pasting all the code as in the instructions? PM me or a Mod for more assistance if you like

Lou!!!!!!!!! Help me i'm sooo confused. i go on to The Countdown Genorator thing, i get to the part where all the stuff is highlighted for you. Then I cant figure it out from there. I'm getting really aggravated. Is there any way you could do mine for me?

Lou I give up I give up I give up. I've done everything the countdown timer instructions say and after I click the generate countdown timer tab the new window that suppose to pop up doesn't pop up and it not behind any windows either and yes the pop up blocker are off. Please help I don't know what the heck I'm doing wrong

The version I think you are trying to use doesn't work anymore, so.....


If you go to the v50 site : http://v50.net/cdgenerator.php

1. enter your trip date in "countdown to date" part
2. give your countdown a name
3. press "generate countdown"

on the newly generated countdown
1. highlight the "bulletin board code" URL
2. copy that line. be sure to include the [IMG] part

go to user cp on DWT
1. choose edit signature
2. paste the bulletin board code
3. click on save signature

that should work.
One thing about this v50 countdown, it will not click down the time like a clock, it gives you the time remaining to your trip when the countdown is shown
