Good Avatars

Ok, I have been trying and trying, but I cannot find a image I like that is small enough to be used for an avatar! So does anybody have any tips or ideas?

if you are using yahoo image search...i try to find one that i like close to the 100x100 (yahoo puts the sizes right under them)then size it down just a bit

Other than creating your own?

Do a google image search for a topic that interests you and then shrink it down to 100 x 100. There are also several avatar websites. Here is one: http://www.johnswdwpage.com/avatars.htm

I just find a picture I like, and edit it in Paint.
