Disney's Millenium Celebration Marching Band show
so its summer, and its time for all the marching band people out there to start memorizing music.. well our show next year, is yes, Walt Disney World's Millenium Celebration! This will be the 2nd time my school has done this show, only last time, it was done 10 years ago, and it didnt go over too well.. But! This year, we are way better then what we were 10 years ago, and we are determined to master this show. It shall be cool. Our movments for the show (the songs that we play) are Reflections of Earth, We go On, and Tapestry of Nations/Chaos. (Plus we get a trip to disney world for playing the music!)
Has anyone else ever played this show or some of the music before? What shows have you done in the past? Last year we did a show called Scheherzade, the story of the prince and princess. For all of you alumni out there, what did you like about marching? What shows do you remember playing?
Re: Disney's Millenium Celebration Marching Band show
The Cadets did that music back in 2000 and won DCI Finals, well tied with the Cavaliers, with a score of 97.65. Their show is not even comparable to small high school bands.

I actually work at a place right now where they write the drill for marching shows, and IllumiNations is fairly popular.
Re: Disney's Millenium Celebration Marching Band show
Our drill writer is the same guy tht writes for the cadets, we are semi small still at only 96 people, we've had more. We decided to do this show because we also did this in 2000 but we failed at it horrible so we want to show the community that we are better now since we took on a more of a military discipline and seriousness to become better. It'll be a fun show
