Trying to post a picture

I seem to have trouble adding pictures to my posts on another board - so thought I'd give it a try here.

Okay, so it didn't work. At least, I tried. If someone can explain to me (in words of one syllable - I'm a bit computer illiterate) how to do this, I'd be extremely grateful...

Nana,

There are a few ways you can post an image:

1. You can simply post the image as an attachment by using the Attach Files button below the text entry window. This is the simplest method, but doesn't show a thumbnail of your image

2. You can upload an image to our photo galleries by simply going to the galleries, clicking on the appropriate area of WDW, and the cliking the Upload Photos button in the upper right of the screen. Then once the image is uploaded, right click on it and click on Properties. You will get a box that has the Address (URL) of the image. It will look like http://www.disneyworldtrivia.com/mickeymouse.gif. Highlight this address by clicking and dragging your mouse over the text. Then, right click on it, and click copy. Close the Properties window. Now, go type your message in the forums. Then click on the icon and right click (or hit CTRL-V) to paste the URL in the box. Click OK and your image should appear.

3. You can also insert a picture that is already on a web site somewhere by following the same instructions - just highlight, copy and paste the image's URL and insert it using the icon.

Oh I see now, the IMG tag is just different then other boards; using the [] command instead of the html <img src> command.

Wanted to post my picture with me and Mickey on my trip to WDW last month. But again can't figure out how to do it!

This is embarassing when I run 3 websites and know html coding!

Hi, I've tried to upload photos but it says that all of mine are too big. I don't know how to make them smaller before I try to upload them again. HELP, PLEASE!!!
