has anyone sat in the front of the monorail.

Yes. Just ask the CM where you have to wait for the front and they'll direct you. Up to 4 people can sit up front. You may have to wait a train or two to get the front.

yes! when we were kids we got a lil monorail certificate

They also sometimes give you wings stickers too.

I have to sit in the front at least once during a trip, especially when going to Epcot (you can see out better up there). Sometimes you have to wait a couple of trains, but if you have the time to kill and have never done it before, it is definately worth it.

Ditto to what everyone said... the view is awesome too... totally worth it... especially to see the faces of the people who didn't know it could be done standing next to you in the queue for the first car. Depending on who the monorail captain is it can be a lot of fun. The first time we did it we had a guy who was sort of stiff and didn't say much. The second time the guy joked and talked with us the whole time.
