Buses pick up and drop off guests at the MK, no need to go through TTC.
I haven't stayed on property since 2003 because we always stay in Windsor Hills. In 2003 we stayed at the WL so when we were at the MK we just took the launch back over to our resort.
In January I am staying at PC for the first time ever. When at the MK, do the buses drop off and pick up at the MK or at the TTC? I guess I have been so focused on getting into the park upon arrival and getting home at the end of the day that I have never really noticed where the buses pick up MK guests. Does everyone have to come through the TTC if they are not at a monorail resort?

I thought so! That's a great feature of staying on property, I'm excited about that.

Yup...the buses pick up just outside the the gates to MK. When you exit the park (i.e. facing the Seven Seas Lagoon), the buses are to the left and the monorail to the TTC is on the right. Not a dumb question...you didn't know, and that's why we're here to help!
My aunt/uncle own a house in Windsor Hills...a few times I was down I stayed there with them, including when I was down in July. Houses are beautiful there, and not far from WDW at all.

Great time advantage getting dropped off at MK.
I gotta admit to having mixed feelings about the MK bus service. I understand why they went ahead and did it. But having to take a transitional ride to the park via the monorail or ferry really heightened the anticipation of arriving at the front gates of the Magic Kingdom.
Buses drop off/pick up right outside MK entrance. Keep in mind of the wait times for the buses...could be 10 minutes - more.
When we went this past Aug, the shortest we waited was 15 minutes...longest was 45!
