Gas Prices near $6.00 at some Orlando and Lake Buena Vista Gas Stations

AAA and CBS are reporting that Walt Disney World area gas stations are the highest in the state and confirmed by GasBuddy . com

Now there is some rational to the President visiting Walt Disney World and Disney welcoming the disruption.
The point was to increase tourism from China, India and Brazil. Very important in my mind because far less people with be able to afford to fly or drive to WDW with these type of gas hikes. IMHO:wow:

Gas prices in central Florida have always been some of the highest, but that's outrageous. Currently $3.39 here in Sleepy Hollow.

We will be renting a car for the first time for our trip in August. Can't imagine what the price of gas will be by then. Living on Long Island, you'd think I'd be used to high gas prices.

When I just did a Gas buddy search, the highest amount was $3.71 in Kissimmee. But $5.89 at the Shell 8788 Vineland near Apopko-Vineland Road. But most of it was "normal" There was one that was $4.79. Both were near the Apopko-Vineland Road areas. Worth $3 bucks a gallon to drive far away to fill up!

Ya, you kinda wonder what the price gouging can do. The more this was on the news yesterday, the more stations started dropping some of their prices to get out of the lime-light. Sure they will go back up as soon as the press stops looking.

At least the report brought attention to the Disney area and now tourists can be more careful about where they pull into to fill up. I'm sure the locals are much better at knowing where to stay away from.

Yes- my brother said to stay away from Vineland-Apooka area as well as the airport. Just be careful and look out.

Definitely use GasBuddy or something comparable. I paid $3.95 a gallon yesterday near Buena Vista and premium was like $4.25!!! Fortunately, I live only about an hour away so I was able to get only a few gallons. The prices are crazy.

I just took a look at Gas Buddy and while there are some high prices near the airport and I-4, the price on property is $3.75 which is close to average here in eastern NC. I did see some $3.69 prices as well on Irlo Bronson Drive. The $5.89 Shell station is really an anomoly.

Y'know what's so funny about this? The last 3 trips we took (remember that means back to 2010) the gas prices ON PROPERTY were cheaper than we're paying here in NC.

yea if you live on long island you are really used to it :( payed $4.05 a gallon yesterday at a BP. Its horrible
