    JC @ WDW Days 16-30

Once again I was not able to keep up with my daily reporting from WDW. So, here is the summary of the last 15 days the DW and I spent in the WDW area from 21 February thru 7 March:

Day 16: Sunny and 80 degrees - Spent most of the day at EPCOT.

Day 17: Sunny and 80 degrees - Spent the afternnon at AK.

Day 18: Sunny and 80 degrees - Spent the afternoon at AK and then watched Illuminations that night. The skywriter that makes religious messages is back.

Day 19: Party Cloudy and 80 degrees - Spent the afternnon at MK.

Day 20: Party Cloudy and 77 degrees - Day of rest, but took the DW shopping at the LBV Outlets. My knees are feeling really bad. Think I have tendonitis from all the walking.

Day 21: Sunny and 80 degrees - Friends from college arrive mid-afternnon. I am barely able to walk the pain is so bad, but we did go out for dinner that night.

Day 22: Cloudy and 82 degrees with some badly needed rain - We were supposed to go to Disney Studios with our friends, but I was not up to all the walking. They suggested I get a ECV. I put the kibosh on that. We did go shopping at the Premium Outllets and later had dinner at Fulton's Crab House followed by shopping at The Marketplace.

Day 23: Sunny and 75 degrees - Our friends left after breakfast. My legs were a little better so we went to Disney Studios later that afternnon to see Motors and stayed for Fantasmic.

Day 24: Sunny and 78 degrees - Went over to Disney Studios for the preview of ESPN the Weekend. Watched Cold Pizza being broadcast. We were on TV a bunch of times. Called the DD and she taped most of the show for us. Can't wait to see how fat I look on TV. DW talks to Jeanne from Celebration and doesn't realize she is DWT member. I took a couple of pics of the DW with Jeanne in the backgound. Later that night during chat I come to realize Jeanne was the person who was talking to the DW. Told her I would look for her in the parks. During chat also learned that Lou was at WDW. I e-mailed him to see if we could meet sometime.

Day 25: Sunny and 92 degrees - Back to Disney Studios for ESPN stuff. Got overheated and dehydrated, but survived. Heard from Lou that he and his family were going to be at Disney on Saturday.

Day 26: Sunny and 65 degrees - Back to Disney Studios early AM to meet Lou. Played phone tag with Lou trying to find him in the park, but finally meet him and his lovely family by the Brown Derby. Had a very nice 45 minute chit chat. Stayed for more ESPN stuff most to the afternoon.

Day 27: Sunny and 72 degrees - My legs were finally feeling better. Went to EPCOT for lunch and stayed until dinner.

Day 28: Sunny and 64 degrees - Drove to the AK and then took bus over to AK Lodge for lunch at Mara. The lodge is very beautiful. Overheard a CM giving a spiel to a young couple about the new DVC buidlings and expanded savannah. Took bus back to AK and spent an hour in line for the safari since all the FastPasses were gone for the day. When we got home we started to pack.

Day 29: Sunny and 72 degrees - Spent most of the day at the MK. Got to see preview of Monster Inc. Laugh Floor Comedy Club (see thread).

Day 30: Sunny and 79 degrees - Spent the afternoon at EPCOT and home early to rest up for the 500 mile (of the 1031 miles) drive the next day.

I am "sick" today as I just added up what the month cost us. As they say, "There is no such thing as a free lunch, especially at WDW!!!" BTW, I will be looking foward to your trip report too. Hope the HM is not closed when you are there.

P.S. Hope to be chatting tonight after a week off.

It was great meeting you JC, even if we didn't realize it was each other. Your wife was fun to talk to! I didn't get your message about meeting up with Lou until after the weekend because I didn't go online for some reason. I'm normally online daily, but my habit died for a couple days!
