It's paid! It's paid! In fact I got my envelope from Magical Express with my luggage tags in the mail today

So what do I need to do or know about between now and when I leave?

Yippee! I love the cute luggage tags. Remember not to take any knives or guns, and all your liquids have to fit into a ziploc baggy.
And, removable shoes. Don't forget your room decorations, extra film and batteries, mousekeeping tip money, quarters and pennies. I don't do a lot of pressed pennies, but I have a few. I also have a lovely pressed quarter with Cinderella on it that I think I got from the Contemporary. Make sure you have something for autographs, because you never know who you might see.
Pack a fantastic outfit for when you win the overnight stay in the Castle. You will want someone to take your photo there so you want to be prepared.

OMG I have so much homework between now and when I leave...good thing too otherwise I'd be bored out of my mind with the waiting. Since I'm not planning on checking any luggage, should I go ahead and use one of the luggage tags? I figure I should just in case something happens so they know that suitcase is mine. I have to start figuring out what to pack clothing wise....I wish I knew already what the weather is going to be like....

Definitely use the luggage tag. You just never know. You are going at a tricky weather time. I think long sleeve shirts and jeans or light weight pants. You might need to take a lightweight jacket with you too for evenings. Something you can fold up and stuff in your backpack.
While I am waiting for my trip to hurry up (like right now!) I read things like Lou's books, Hidden Mickey books and Imagineering books. Then when I am there some random factoid usually pops out of my mouth. It also helps you to see things you may never have noticed before.

Okay I've already had one volunteer, but just in case I need someone else to remind me to call the Photopass people this coming week to check on the Grand Floridian portrait session! They book 30 days out so I need to call this week! Thanks!

Hi Ms Rachel - I am just now getting around to reading your trip report......a solo trip....sound fun, and ambitious. If you get lonely and want to hang out for a bit with a crazy girl and her toddler we will almost certainly be in the parks at some point while you are there. PM me for more info

Okay here's is my "itinerary" that I have planned, but nothing is set in stone. I just really formed it based on the park hours and EMH:

Saturday 12/15 (Flight arrives at MCO a little after 10 a.m,, use Magical Express to Pop Century, check in/drop off luggage)
-MGM
-Maybe EPCOT for a little bit
-Finish off the day at the Magic Kingdom (park open till midnight)

Sunday 12/16
-Magic Kingdom: Character breakfast with Pooh & Friend's at the Crystal Palace at 8:15am
-EPCOT
-MGM (PM Extra Magic Hours)

Monday 12/17
-Animal Kingdom (AM Extra Magic Hours)
-Maybe EPCOT?
-Magic Kingdom (PM Extra Magic Hours)

Tuesday 12/18
-EPCOT (AM Extra Magic Hours)
-Animal Kingdom?
-Magic Kingdom & MVMCP!

Wednesday 12/19
-Go home

Like I said, nothing is set in stone (except MVMCP and my character meal). But for those of you who will be in the area and want to hunt me down, know you'll have some idea of where I'll be. Feel free to PM me and we can trade info if you like. I'm gonna call the Photopass people either tomorrow or Friday and see about the portrait session at the Grand Floridian. Depending on if and when I get a reservation, I may have to tweak the schedule a bit. We'll see after I call.
