Sounds like delicious choices
On 9/29, we had dinner at the Flying Fish Café (on the Boardwalk). I ordered the Potato-Wrapped Red Snapper and it was great! We were very happy with the food and service and look forward to dining here again.
On 9/30, we had dinner at the Kona Café (Polynesian). I ordered the Macadamia Mahi Mahi. While the food was great, the service we experienced was poor.
On 10/1, we had dinner at Artist Point (Wilderness Lodge). I ordered the Cedar Plank Roasted King Salmon, which was great. I also had the Artist Point Cobbler for dessert. It was a great dining experience.
On 10/2, we had dinner at Jiko (Animal Kingdom Lodge). I ordered the Halibut, The food and service were excellent. We’ve dined at Jiko several times, and can highly recommend it.
On 10/3, we had dinner at the Yachtsman Steakhouse (Yacht Club). I ordered the Yachtsman Filet Mignon. It was great. We had a good time.
On 10/4, we had lunch at the Olivia’s (Old Key West). The service and food were good. I wouldn’t go out of your way to eat here, but it is convenient to those staying at OKW. We followed up with dinner at the Whispering Canyon Café (Wilderness Lodge), which was fun.
On 10/5, we had dinner at Spoodles (on the Boardwalk). I ordered the Pan-roasted Fillet of Red Snapper. The food and service were great.
Overall, we were very happy with the food and service provided by all the restaurants we ate at. Our only negative comments were about the service at the Kona Café.
My wife has several food allergies (gluten, soy, shellfish, strawberries, vinegar, and water melon) and is also a vegetarian. As usual, most of the restaurants were extremely accommodating. Only Kona Café prepared a dish she didn’t enjoy.

Makes me hungry and ready to go eat!
You went to fabulous restaurants. I would give Kona Cafe another chance but this time I would try it for breakfast. We really enjoy it there for the tonga toast, kona coffee etc. Flying Fish is on my high priority list to try. I love fish and I love the Boardwalk area. We also really like Soodles and the Yachtman but The Artist Point did not live up to my expectations but I am willing to try it again because I know everyone loves it so maybe I caught it on an off night (although I will say my salad was really good). Have never tried Jilko or Olivia's but I have heard dismal reviews about Olivia's so I don't think I would go out of my way to try it. Glad you had an overall good dining experience. Do you have any new ones you want to try? (actually that reminds me I have a thread somewhere by that title, I'll have to go look for it.)![]()
I'm taking my next vacation with DVC Mike! Great restaurant choices. I've not tried Flying Fish, but since that is a chain, I'm not all gun ho about making that a priority to try it. Artist's Point is one of our favorites as is the Whispering Cannon Café. I had a great dining experience at Jiko last Spring and hope to take my dh there in December.

What will you celebrate?
Adult daycare for the kid inside you.
I can't wait to try Boma's. If we enjoy that, my family will be more willing to try Jiko. Had to make it easy on the 9-10 of us that are going.
Wow, it sounds like a delicious vacation!!! I hope you had fun, it sure sounded like you did!
