Mousefest Memories

I'm back!! I'm not one to write trip reports but I do plan on posting some photos from the trip. Hopefully within the next day or two. Overall, my first Mousefest was AMAZING!!! It was great seeing old friends and making new friendships that will last a lifetime. Going to WDW without your family and getting to hang out with people just as crazy as I am was awesome. It's a totally different type of trip. I almost like it better. I can't wait to see everyone again next year!! I miss them already!

I wanted so bad just to hop on a plane and go down for a couple of days by myself, just to join the madness.
I'm thrilled to hear it was a great experience, and can't wait to see the pics.

Ahhh yes... LOVE seeing Lori (and mom) and getting my trusty bag of "Lou don't fall asleep yet" M&Ms! Holiday ones, to boot!!!

Wednesday

Our first stop is always MK. And the first person I get to see is Santa. I told him I was bad and he seemed to be okay with that.

Ran into those step sisters of Cindy's. I asked them where she was but they didn't care. They were cracking me up the next night at MVMCP dancing around.

Didn't stay too long. Headed to DTD to do some shopping.

Thursday

Got up and headed to MK because today was the first day of Mousefest -Land portion

And who is the first person I run into:

Lou came around the corner with those "nerdy boys". We were chatting when we saw this lady with an amazing hat.

I can't remember for sure, but I think she had pins from Marceline.

This is Lou giving me (and Minnie) the personal Audio guide tour of Main St. Not sure what he told me-I wasn't really listening!

Just kidding!! I think we were talking about the marathon.

Thursday continued

After lunch we went to Mousefest 101

Then I headed to Haunted Mansion with Lou, Fred, Jessica, Glenn and the "nerdy boys". LOVE the refurb!! Especially when you sit in a doom buggy with 2 guys you just met and there is hardly enough room. One of my favorite memories of the whole trip.

Then it was time for DOLE WHIPS!!!

While I don't have a picture to post we went to the Hidden Mickey meet at POTC. Nothing like getting stuck on POTC for like half an hour. Yo Ho Yo Ho A Pirates Life For Me.

Meet up with Jeanne to watch the castle lighting.

Later that night mom and I did MVMCP. Not much to show but I did like this picture.

I wonder what he is saying to the CM??

I'm glad you liked that. I figured that only the people that know who they are are going to get it.
