Okay I know I said I would start it on Monday but I changed my mind.

Disney World Christmas 2007

We woke up at about 5 a.m. to go to the airport. This was the first time we ever drove to the airport. By the time we got to the airport, parked, checked in, and gotten through security it was already 9 a.m.! Out flight took of at 10:40 a.m.! I don't know about you but I MUST eat before I get on a plane, otherwise I'll get sick. So we ate at Chili's in the airport. Their breakfast was okay but it wasn't the best.

So we got to our gate and we found out the flight moved gates so we had to go to the other one, which was right down the way. Oh I forgot to tell you my mom and brother were on a security watch list b/c either their names, birthdays, or something else was close to someone else's. We got that taken care of right away.

Our flight was the most turbulent flight I have ever been on. We flew on Ted. I liked it a lot, they had some TV shows going to it took my mind off of the turbulence. One thing I hate is that b/c I'm so tall I really don't have all that much room to move around in the seat since we are in coach.

Then we got to Orlando International Airport and got on the Magical Express. It was great. It was the first and definitely NOT the last time we'll use it!

By the time we got to the hotel it was about 4 p.m. (FL time). We then went to go eat at one of my favorite restaurants in CS. The Pepper Market.


One of birds are watching us while we eat. He's looking for bread crumbs!
They have the best calzone there!


We sat underneath this tent a lot when we went to the PM.

I noticed something different. Everyone's favorite fountain was down. The new Rix Lounge was up.


Nice place if you ask me.


I liked these walls. Can you notice something special in them? I'll tell you in an upcoming post!


Instead of the big funny fountain they have two smaller simple fountains. This is a pic of one of them. There is one on the other side.

After that we went to the gift shop. What's Disney World without souvenirs?!



Did anyone who went to the CS find this scene in the gift shop?

Right out side is another fountain.


When we walked to the main lobby there is a lot of nice views.










So how did I do for the first day?

I bet you're glad you did eat before boarding the plane - otherwise you would have been sick with all that turbulence! We never get to experience the Magical Express as we always have 'transfers' arranged for us and it is usually Mears!
