1 Day 4 Parks
Hi Trivia Buffs!
Not exactly a trip report, but just back from 1 Day 4 Parks with a net friend and her family from Ohio, down for one day, and shot our ride on Goofy's Barnstormer.
Another friend thought I was escorting newbies... newbies wouldn't stand a chance of doing what we did! By 11:38am, we had ridden the train, done Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain (twice!), Pirates of the Carribean, discovered that the Dole Whip counter was not yet open, done Haunted Mansion, Mickey's Philharmagic, and Goofy's Barnstormer, eaten at Ray's Cosmic Cafe, done the Monsters Inc Laugh Floor, and shot the requisite group shot in front of the castle! Then the girls (Mom and daughters, 8 and 11, and all of them too cute to take) headed over to Epcot on the monorail while "Dad" and I grabbed their vehicle, loaded my ECV, and drove over.
That's all I've got for the moment, and the vid can be seen in my Ride Vids album.

Ok, I just gotta ask. How in the world (no pun intended) did you do all of this in 2 hours 38 min? Morning Extra Magic hours? Did you know someone? Did you have an individual in a wheelchair? Did you get one of those Million Dreams Fastpasses? I went there on 6/29 in the afternoon and it wasn't that busy, but, it got slammed late b/c of PM EMH, so, I guess that kinda knocks out the M EMH thought. But, even if I ran, there was no way I could do that much. Just amazing...I GOTTA KNOW YOUR SECRET!:wow:
I can't even think of why I would want to try this. I like to take my time and absorb the atmosphere of the park that I am in on that day.

And yes, I am in an ECV (and that you ask tells me you haven't spent enough time in my awesome albums! hehehehee...) which helps on a couple of attractions, but in this case, wasn't actually a factor- I simply laid it out to hit things before the crowds did. One reason I started at MK instead of Epcot was that Epcot had the EMH, thus would be full before we could even enter. Also, starting at MK allowed us to get in the transportation time over to the park before the open hours, thus saving us some time on our quest.
I was about the fifth person to arrive at Splash, on my scooter, and had to wait for my party to arrive via the train (the girls wanted to ride the train); still, we were through Splash before there were any significant numbers there- same for BTMRR, though I do get back-end loading on that- and the double ride. POTC, left line, virtually walk on. (No scooter allowed, so regular line). Haunted Mansion, we go through the regular line for part, but get pulled out about half way in, again not much of a line and we did choose to skip the stretch room, an option for handicapped loading, which saves some time, but mainly cause the little one thought that was "the scary part!". Mickey's PhilharMagic, we entered as the line was entering the show loading area and again plenty of room, so another walk on. Over to Goofy's, back end loading, but again, not much of a line, though maybe saved 15 minutes there. Then over to Cosmic Rays for a bite to eat, despite my LAW that you do NOT eat in a theme park- (waste of time and money)- but, girls rule! Then to the Laugh Floor, and we just missed- literally: the person in front of me entered and I got stopped! But that was only a ten minute wait. We were over to Epcot shortly after noon.
I think I have started my trip report...
As to why would we do this? The people I was hosting were in from Ohio and had one day and one day only. We are all Park Veterans, and they had certain attractions they "had to see": it just so happened that they were spread over four parks, so my challenge was to make it happen. Normally the only park hopping I do is to finish each day with Illuminations at Epcot regardless of what park I have spent the day in.
As for running, well, back in 96, first visit to Epcot, and when I was still on my feet, and running, I did the WHOLE thing, both sides, in one day! Skipped 'Honey I Shrunk the Kids'...
