My fiance and I spent time in WDW back in April. We were invited to a vow renewal, my girlfriend and her hubby had a ceremony at the Boardwalk. The ceremony and luncheon were great. The 4 of us went to dinner at the Grand Floridian Cafe that night..we had a blast.
I should also explain (for the story to make sense) that my fiance and I picked out my engagement ring in October when i visited him in Georgia. On Christmas Day, he called to wish my parents a Merry Christmas and also asked them for permission to propose to me and marry me. He then asked me over the phone. I have worn my ring ever since. But he never asked me in person.
on Wednesday of our trip we were at M.K. all day. That night while walking by Cinderella's castle I noticed a Photopass Photographer taking pictures of guests with the castle in the back. So I said we should get our pictures taken too. When it was our turn, I placed my my tote bag on the ground and turned around to find Tim down on one knee proposing! The photopass photographer captured the whole thing in pictures! I couldnt believe he did that for me. We then went to watch fireworks and afterwards stopped in Arribas Bros..where he purchased a small Cinderella and Prince Charming for me to commerate our engagement. I have referred to him as my Prince Charming since about a month after we first started speaking..as he has called me Cinderella or "Cindy" for short.
We also got a tour of the Wedding Pavilion and ballroom at Grand Floridian that will be used for our reception. It was really gorgeous..
We had a wonderful time but learned an important lesson..NEVER do WDW during Easter Break.
