1st trip for the misses

we will be going to WDW in 12 days... We are staying at the Wilderness Lodge after renting points from a DVC owner...

it is an 8 day 7 night vaca... oh and did i mention... it is my girlfriends first time going to WDW... actually it will also be her first time on a plane...

we are arriving at 9:30am on wednesday and leaving at 8:25pm or so the following wednesday...

i love going with people who have never been... because you get to kinda see it through their eyes when they see everything for the first time... i will keep ya posted as we get closer and how it goes...

right now she is panicking about finding those little travel sized items for the plane... ahh i love going with someone whose never flown before... little does she know if you put your shampoos and other grooming items in your checked bag... it doesnt really matter...

That is going to be truly awesome for both of you. My wife had been a few times before we met (mainly in high school for band), but it wasn't really until after we met that she became a Disney freak. She found out how much Disney really means to me and now it means a lot to her also.

When I met my boyfriend he had been a few times before, and actually about 3 weeks into dating his mom invited me on a trip to Disney with them haha! In 5 days we're going on our 4th trip to Disney together in 5 years... but he seems to be getting LESS enthusiastic about it. I think it's more that he would rather just stay at home and hang out with the dog and his friends than go anywhere, than it is not wanting to go to Disney... but it makes me sad anyways He is excited for our Disney cruise though, and that will be our first trip WITHOUT either my or his family, so I'm hoping that ends up well

Also, that's cute about your gf and her travel sized items haha. I hope she has fun! Make sure to do a trip report when you get back!

I bring people and they STILL don't realize how big it is! Maybe that's cause its usually when I'm convincing cousins who say they will never ever go to Disney to come just for one day, when we go to Orlando every March. One day doesn't get much in!
