From the food place we decided to play some pinball and skiball (sp?). I could of done this all day. I love skiball! From here we went to a virtual reality comic book game where you put on a helmet and hold something that looks like a lightsaber. The helmet did not fit at all and ended up pushing my glasses into my nose. The game itself is super outdated. It should of been update many times. It looks like a game from 1995 with really bad graphics. I ended up with the high score out of a group of 5 and decided I would not do this again. Classic= D- Overall=D. From here we went to the Magic Carpets of Alladin. Once again, I had to wear a helmet that did not fit and played a game that was very outdated. We were suppose to feel like we were riding a carpet through Agraba and collecting gems and then I think finding the princess. Really bad game. Classic=D- Overall= D.

From that ride, my wife took me to Virtual Space Mountain. Here you got to design a rollercoaster using different types of track in three different locations. We did this 3 or 4 time because it was way better than the other attractions. The second time we did it we tried to put as many loops as possible in it and ended up getting about 5 or 6 loops on it. Definately better than all of the other big rides/games at Disney Quest. Classic=B, overall= B+. From here we did another big game that dealt with Extraterrorestrial. We were suppose to shoot bad aliens and rescue colonists off of a planet. The video for this had to of been shot when the Extraterrorestrial show in Magic Kingdom was shot because it had a video with some of the same actors in it and the film looked dated. The game was once again bad and outdated. Classic=D, Overall= D. From here we went to Buzz Light Years's something, something, something. This is where you need a driver and a shooter. One person drives a small enclosed vehicle in a very small area and ****s up balls so the passenger can load them up into a canon and shoot them at other cars. This game had the potential to be really cool, but the area is way to small for this attraction, the time you wait is way too long and the time they give you in the car is way too short. Plus, everytime you get hit, you spin around and lose control of the vehicle for about 20 seconds. Classic=B- Overall=B.

After that, we then headed downstairs to the Jungle Cruise game. This ride suffered from the start. They only had one guy working this thing, so only one group could be loaded about every three minutes. It took forever. When we finally got loaded, they ended up loading another couple in the same raft. This was fine, but we didn't all communicte very well. I believe Wayne Zylinski (I know I butchered his last name, but it's suppose to be Rick Moranis from Honey I Shrunk the Kids), that tells you this game is already outdate, is suppose to be leading you down a river through dinosaurs and other creatures. We only got about a third down the course because we didn't allrow the same way plus, even when we did we ended up getting stuck up against the shore. This ride was not very fun and very outdated. The technology for the raft going up and down was pretty cool, but the video is awful. Classic=D+, Overall= C-.

From here we decided to finally depart Disney Quest. This place has the potential to be something great, but Disney has decided not to invest any money into it for probably about the last 10 or 15 years. 90% of the rides are extremely dated and to top it off they are charging upwards of $44 dollars to do this. We pretty much did everything in about 4 to 5 hours. Disney needs to updat this to get people to keep coming back. I will not do it again until they either A. update it a lot or B. drop the prices down to about $20 bucks. I should of just played all of the normal video games instead of disappointing myself with all of the bigger games. We decided to head back to the hotel, rest and get ready for the night at the Spirit of Aloha.

Re: Optimus Eo's Post Trip report!!!!

Once we got back to the hotel, we took our showers, watched TV and then got ready to head over to the Polynesian. We ended up taking a bus to the Magic Kingdom and then rode the monorail from there to the Polynesian. This is one of our most favorite themes hotels. I have stayed there, but it was back when I was about 4 or 5. We had scoped out the location of the dinner show the week before, so we knew right where to go. When you get to the entrance, they mark you off the list, give you lays and take a photo of you group in front of the Spirit of Aloha sign. My first thought was, "that is awesome! We get a photograph with this meal." This mad sense to me because the average couple not on the Disney Dining plan is going to pay $110 plus for this meal. We then waited about 30 minutes to be sat. Once they announce they were seating, it took about 10 minutes for us to get sat. Once sat, a server came over and asked what we wanted to drink. I ordered a Bud Light and my wife ordered wine. It only took the witress about 5 minutes to bring out our drinks and the salad and the coconut pineaplle bread. The bread was sweet and amazing and the salad was better than I expected. I believe the actors then came out on stage and did a little skit about a Polynesian girl going away and it involved an older lady that was a dance instructor for all of these 20 somethings. It was very cute. They then took a break and the graduation onemain course came out. Ribs, chicken, rice and fresh steamed veggies. All of this food was excellent! I loved every bit of it. My wife enjoyed the chicken. After about 30 minutes, the actors then turned into dancers. They did about 5 or 6 different dances that were native to the Hawaiian Islands.

The dances were all well done and performed to perfection. I don't know what it was, but it just felt magical. It was like everthing just clicked and my wife and I were there haveing a great time. They took another short intermission and that is when the lava mousse came out. The desert was a bit small, but still very delicious. This was also about the time our pictures came out. They want about $34 dollars for a 8 X 10 and a few wallets. We passed. It stinks because they were developed and ready to sell. I'm guessing they just threw them away when I probably would of paid $20 bucks for them. After that, the dancers came back and eventually my favorite part of the show happened. THE FIRE DANCER! He was amazing throwing and spinning a bar of flame. I got a couple great videos of this. Unfortunately, soon the show was over and we had to go back to our resort. We decided to get ready for bed to get ready for the next day.

You can also make a slide show on Photobucket and post it on here. I've done that in the past.
