ok.. here is the deal... i'm so excited i couldnt sleep last night..

i can book a week trip to disney or i can book a cruise.

well here it is.. cruise cons are.. i looked at all the fun shore things we could do and anything we woud be interested in.. says the kids have to be like 7 or 8 and up.. so that knocks tayen out so i'm starting to think i maybe should wait a lil while on a cruise.

my con about the world is all the work their doing there..

but either way this is a nice problem to have..

but i believe i'm leaning more to just going to the world because of the fact alot of the shore trips say she needs to be older.. because her dad isnt going just to lay on a beach.

so now the next question is... when to go..

last year when we went it was so super busy.. so i wanna pick a slower time and it says after labor day but before food and wine so i'm thinking the week of the 11th.. which means we will be flying out on 9/11.. eek a lil strange.

i have been waiting to here about maybe some discounts on dinning or maybe discounts on kids sailing free or something..

but this is where i stand on the trip.. i know if we go to the world.. i'm going to be looking in to the extra things there at disney we can do.. i wanna take it nice and slow and we will also be heading to the spacecenter one day.

but as i plan more i will be adding my info.

I am a fan of September. You can walk onto just about everything. I thought they already announced free dining for September??? Could be wrong.

Understand the construction, it is ugly. Downtown Disney Photos are horrible.

just called AAA its going to be around $1600 for all star movies from 9/11 to 9/16, base tickets for 6 days, and dinning

they have it on 7 day hold for me.. i'm waiting to put it past the hubby then i will be making my dep.

they had and i missed it.. they did it back in dec.. but i never book trips in dec.. i always do it in the spring and i'm used to them telling fall discounts in the spring.. blah.. they changed it up on me

Super excited for you!!! We just got back from the World on Sun and the construction is plentiful!! But in true Disney style it is mostly hidden from view. I cannot wait to go back and see Fantasyland!!
I have to agree with Sept/Oct! We went every year over Halloween until the kids started high school - then they didn't want to risk missing days of school and getting behind....blah blah blah....where did these crazy kids come from?? I would have skipped a month of school if it had been offered!!

so i found this ad in my AAA mag and says something about kids play staying and playing for free if i book before the end of this month.. so i'm going to go in a check this out..

i think i have come up with the idea of flying in on sunday 9/10. getting a rental car from the airport and then driving to the space center. enjoy just being away that evening. then get up the next morning 9/11 and go to the space center then head back to relax or go ahead and drive back to orlando and get a room or something.. i dont wanna waste a disney day..lol but then monday morning 9/12 check into all star movies. stay with disney until 9/16 and catch the magical express back to the airport and back home.

i'm thinking this is the plan.. thinking..

well i got my trip booked

we fly in on the 10th then get a hertz rental car and drive to a days inn on the beach near the space center we will either go to the space center that day or the next then drive that evening to disney and check in at the all star movies!!! i really liked that resort when we were there.

we will be staying there sun-fri!!!!!

i plan on this trip being more lady back and slower paced thats why i picked so many days

i cant wait until i can book my dinners i wanna try different places!

I love trying at least one new place each trip too! We tried Bongos for the first time....it was different! I really enjoyed!!

get there sat, sept 10th around 11-12
get the rental car
then head to gatorland
then head to kennedy space center area and check into hotel
get some seafood, see the beach and relax


sun sept 10th
go to space center
head back to orlando
drop off car at the dolphin/swan
check into AS Movies
then head to MK
dinner at CRT @ 5:30
the park is open from 9am to midnight

mon sept 12
studio
lunch at prime @12:10
open from 9am to 10pm

tues sept 13
epcot
lunch at tep @12:10
open from 8am to 9pm

wed sept 14
universal all day
lunch @ HP world hopefully

thur sept 15
AK
tusker breakfast @ 9:15 with donald
rainforest dinner @ 5:15
open from 9am -5pm

fri sept 16
check out
maybe hang at MK or DTD
fly out of orlando at like 3:45
get in charleston @ 8:10
head back to KY about a hour and half drive and were home..

but the trip doesnt stop there

we get home friday.. only to turn around and leave monday for memphis tn.

brent is going to his national sales meeting and i'm riding with and heading to tx to see my mom for the week

we drive to memphis.. then they live like 5 hours away. so i go the rest of the way.. then at the end of the week we meet back up and head home

so i get a 2 week vacation

You doing Halloween party? I'd say Halloween party could be your Animal Kingdom or Epcot day guessing by last years first party date!
