If day two's report is like day one's, I'm going to have G read it to see what all he missed!
I'm fairly certain that given a tiara and a nice cape, I could save the world--one sequin at a time.

What? I can't imagine how that could have happened! You're never mean and you take "grown up" stuff elsewhere. None of my business, but I miss you!

On a happier note, this report is really fun! I'd love to do this myself some day. I work at the Gurnee Disney Store. It would be a riot to get some of my fellow CM-s together and just go!

Best note yet: Only 10 more days until my Mother /Daughter, Birthday/Graduation trip! Can't hardly wait!

CHAPTER 8: Change of Plans (You Didn’t See That Coming?)

The next morning, Jen and I were almost ready to head down to breakfast, so we sent Todd down first to get started (he’s a breakfast eater, we’re not). Unfortunately, we had a little trouble telling Todd from the bus staff when we got down there…

We have a full 12 hours today – we decided to not just do EPCOT, but to start with Hollywood Studios.

It’s Star Wars Weekends. Yes, we know it’ll be more crowded, but we figure we can knock out a few things and move on. Star Tours 2 just opened, and while I have no need to be tossed about in a little room (especially in 3-D); Jen and Todd wanted to see it. So we went with the divide and conquer strategy: they headed for Star Tours, I headed for Toy Story Mania with our tickets.

The Fast Pass return time is already 5:30 and the line is 60 minutes. I text Jen and she tells me Star Tours is 60 minutes and they are going to try Tower of Terror instead. Turns out that’s really a long wait too – so we meet up in front of the Art of Animation to get our picture taken with Mickey.

And since the Studios was such a bust (although it was cool to see the Storm Troopers out front and the characters were fun), we decide to squeeze in Downtown Disney! We head that way about 10:30.

CHAPTER 9: Unscheduled Down(town) Time (You really didn’t see that coming?)

Todd wanted to head to the vinylmation store, D Street, and I wanted Ghirardelli’s.

They also got to see the Lego Store displays for the first time. I have to post a photo from 2 weeks ago first:

This is all that was left of the poor 3 legged deer…

I’m still in awe of the dragon – I hadn’t noticed the see-through wings before…

A trip through the World of Disney and on to Ghirardelli’s! Hot fudge shake for Todd, root beer float for Jen, hot fudge sundae for me.

Todd starts giggling while we’re sitting here. He’s thinking about our Space Mountain photo. And he can’t stop laughing. Show me, Todd…
