Yummm - a Hot Fudge Shake - somehow I've missed this all the times we've been there. Gotta put on the must list for next time.

Great report, as usual! I wished I was able to go before you left, but after reading this I really wish I was able to go.
I can't wait for the next chapter.
I guess I'll go read more of your Treehouse TR.

Wow lots to catch up on

That room looks nice, roomy and clean.

OMG, I am hysterical at Todd's shirt and the bus person's I think I would have peed myself if I had been there!

Love the Lego's, totally missed that this past trip, will need to look for them in August with my niece. I think we are hitting DQ on arrival day and will probably do dinner somewhere DTD.

Missed the new MK show too, actually missed all nighttime shows this past trip. Hopefully my niece will stay out later than Mom did. The pics look awesome!

can't wait to read how the rest of the weekend went!

CHAPTER 10: “Friendship” Boat Says It All

After the ice cream, we drive over to EPCOT. Todd’s too tired to walk from the parking lot.

EPCOT looks funny to me without the topiaries from Flower and Garden (yes, 2 weeks ago!)

We head for Soarin’ fast passes and ride Living with the Land. There are amaranth plants to your left, just as you enter the greenhouse. These were just planted 2 weeks ago – they’re huge already!

    Hey, a dragon fly!

Hey, supposed to be a shot of the Hidden Mickey garden hose, but just looks like a photo of Todd taking a photo!

Over to The Seas – we wonder if Disney would notice if we turned this into our Beach House?

    Todd shows us his crabs.

For some mysterious reason, there’s a LINE for Journey – and we stood in it!

It’s getting close to our 3:10 ADR, so we head out into the sun to make our way back to Italy.

How'd that SPace Mountain photo go again???

We decide it’s too hot to walk all the way around, so Friendship Boat it is!

One of my favorite shots from the trip!

So cute - she videotaped the entire ride! I guess she's home right now, reliving the journey!

    CHAPTER 11: Via Na-yummy

It’s starting to feel like I live at Via Napoli. And that’s okay with me!

We are seated in the greenhouse-type area off to the front, right side of the restaurant. We are treated to a view of a man outside, who is very much enjoying and embracing his World Showcase experience!

    And so are we…

David (as Todd mind-read from my brain ""I didn't know statues would walk and talk") was trying to perfect my Italian accent. He wrote out a pronunciation for me - despite the rumors I have started, he was not slipping me his phone number.

I love my zoom - these guys were in the other room:

Jen tells me there was even food! (Could have fooled me!)

An hour and a half later…

On the way out - I found my busboy from 2 weeks ago and got a better picture (at the time of this posting, the bad pictures of him are not up yet - it was the last day of the previous trip)

David and Massimiliano (but I think he went back to Italy. The real one. Anyone up for a boat trip?)

Oh and the ladies are pretty good looking too.

CHAPTER 12: The Theme for the Chapter is “Wood”

We walk through Germany – I’m not passing the caramel shop without something – so I get a caramel and chocolate covered marshmallow stick. I then have to dodge and weave through the park, because Jen and Todd keep trying to take bites! I barely share regular food; you think you’re getting caramel?????

My, that’s an impressive piece of giraffe wood!

By the time we got to Norway, I had finished the marshmallows, so I let Todd have the stick. He quickly realizes it's just marshmallow at this point and tosses it.

The Maelstrom was down, so we got Fast Passes (yeah, I don’t know what’s wrong with us either) and moved on to Mexico. Seriously??? A line??? I’ve never seen a real line here before!

    Happy otter!

We head back to Norway – good gravy!!! Are you kidding????

Thank heavens for those fast passes, huh?

Which we have to wait a few minutes before they can be used, so let’s explore Norway – both Todd and I work for roofing companies, so the bad flashing on this chimney hit us immediately.

    Strange eye-sharing carving.

    Waterfall using different camera settings.

One of the things Jen needs to do is go shopping. So we’re going to head to Mouse Gears. First, we need to pass Lightning McQueen and Tow Mater. Awesome topiaries!!!

Hubby always whines about staying back at the hotel - I'm thinking this is a good opportunity for him to do so. Perhaps in Dec?

Wonder if my last name will impress them - it's probably like Smith in Italy!

If you're picking Jen up in DE, you can stop in NJ.

I love your trip reports Jaime!
