Groovy Art Momma's Family Christmas trip

So I finally got serious about the pre-trip planning.

We are 133 days out, and I just made 2 ADR's. It's the first time I've made advanced dining reservations, so I hope everything goes well. I have a loose park schedule arranged, and put alerts and conformation #'s in my phone. Now to start collecting the "goodies" to take w/ us. (shirts, toys, etc.) Let's get this pre trip planning started!!

We went in '08 at Christmas. I bought extra clothes with the back to school sales and packed it all away! Found cheap backpacks at that time too so the kids got new backpacks. It was sort of fun to do that!

We made ADR's for T-Rex (cuz DD4 is a dinosaur nut)

and the other @ Fulton's Crab House. We have eaten there twice before and really like it.

Good advice!

I'm hoping to get my DD a Lightning McQueen backpack ( the one that is shaped like him). She LOVES Cars-- I found one @ Toys R Us online for a reasonable price. I 'm hoping that it'll go on sale for even less.

Also check the Disney Store online. I got t-shirts for $4 and backpacks for $5.

I really would love to plan another trip during the Holidays. It's just so beautiful that time of year both in the decorations that are done around property and in the parks as well as temperature wise. When we had our annual passes we spent the majority of our days using them during the December/January time of year. I remember having to wear gloves and a coat a few times so make sure to pack for the weather!

i would love to try fultons one day...cant do it this upcoming trip!

I will definitely be watching the weather. So excited to see the World @ Christmastime! I've only been in spring or summer before. Thanks for the info!

Sure thing! Note... it's Florida... so pack jeans, sweatshirts and t-shirts and shorts.

One vivid memory I have is of the day we went and our first stop was at the emporium to buy 3 sweatshirts (because it was so cold and we hadn't dressed for it) but then by around 2:00 we had them tied around our waste and were sweating. Ahhh Florida!

I'm starting to think about flight preparations now. (I've already got flights, just thinking about luggage,etc.) I'm always a little nervous when I fly.

105 days out.........

Drew some "hidden Mickeys" on our kitchen calendar in December for the kiddo yesterday, now to just get the stickers so she can start marking days off.

Yay!! Around 3 months is when it starts to zoom by for me. I'm sure it will for you too. It feels like just yesterday I was here complaining that there were still 3 months and that Mickey's head (the countdown ticker) wasn't moving fast enough.
