Sept.2011 Poplin Family Trip

HI everyone. i'm going to start posting about our vacation. sorry it's taking so long to get it started. when we came back i started my new job homecoming is going on here for a couple weeks so there was plently of homecoming hair to do and we went to cosi with the girl scouts and brent went to memphis for a week so that week i spent every evening talking to him on the phone like teenagers in love lol

but anyways on to the trip

we leave the house sat sept10th and head for the hotel room and get there and crash to get up early the next morning.

sept 11th, no one sleeps the bed is AWFUL! so we get up at 3 and start getting ready. then we head to the airport. get checked in and get thru security rather ez. they were nice with bug and let us walk thru the metal dec. together.

then off to wait for the plane


then we get on the plane and its like musical chairs.. at first tayen is in the middle and brent at the middle, then tayen wants the window and then they swap and then we swap again and i end up in the middle.. lol i have no idea how all that happened..lol but brents dad was loving all the running we made him do..lol the plane change in atl was fun riding their train.. lol he learned to hold on.



but now were here.. finally in line waiting for our magical express.. was inline maybe 10-15 mins.





we stop at all the all stars. and were last because we at the movies. we get there.. there is a HUGE check in line!! and no one inline at online check in so glad i online checked in

i was sad we ended up bug in the love bug room. but it was because they were totally redoing the fantasia building. so one entire building was empty.

but our room was ready and we headed over to drop our bags. the rooms had been redone since our last visit and were nice..

us being starved out headed to magic kingdom for some grub!!!!



we went right to adventure land for lunch. we went to Tortuga Tavern

i had the chicken and brent had veggie and his dad had beef and tayen had cheese tacos with choc cake and cookies



after lunch we did a few rides, we did the tiki room, like it better now. the jungle cruise, become bugs fav of the day. we walked over and did haunted mansion and bug wouldnt ride it.. dont know why. she has rode it 100x's but wouldnt ride it at all this trip. lov the new line and used it every time. then we walked back around because it was time for her pirate league appt. but had time for one more ride. PIRATES! afterwards we went and checked in. and her pirate makeover started.

Ok so #1 - Tayen is just gorgeous and #2 - she's even more gorgeous in her pink lady pirate outfit! Love the pics with her and Jack!

after all that it was time for some more rides we headed to fantasy land. we rode the horseys and tried to pull the sword from the stone and more. here are a few pics.









then it was off to have dinner at CRT i dont have our cindy pic scanned yet but i will later. but this is the first lil miff of the trip. every table in the center of the room was under a steady drip from the air conditioning system leaking it took forever for the princesses to come out. we had already finished our meals and desert and bug fell asleep. but they finally came and she got to meet them and she loved seeing all of them.















after all that. we call it a evening go back to the room and do a lil swimming then bed.

we got woke up in the middle of them night to brents dad getting sick over and over and over again.. we had all 3 had the samething to eat all day.. but he got the soup at CRT and we got the salad.. we believe this is where he got food poisoning..

Sounds like a fun trip so far except Brent's dad getting sick, the same thing happened on my family trip down but my brother got it from a Citywalk restaurant. Tayen looked so cute as a pirate.

And my DS got food poisoning at the ESPN Club. From perfectly fine to violently ill in an hour.

thanks guys.. she is a lil doll and i have to brag on her.. not 1 melt down on this trip. she was well behaved the entire time.. it was like invasion of the body snatchers but of the good kind

Love reading about your trip and seeing all the pictures. It looks like you all had a great time! Sorry to hear about Brent's dad getting sick. Hopefully he wasn't down for too long. Can't wait to read more!

probably... CRT is not one of my recommended places to eat.. the food is AWFUL.. and i have to say its not as magical as you would expect it to be for what they charge
