Tiffany's Pre-Trip report

Hello everyone! So this year I had no idea I was going to be going to WDW. I was wishing for a merical to appear for us and getting a chance to go to WDW this year. Well that merical happened Wednesday the 11th of January around 1:00pm. I got a letter in the mail from the head of the newsletter I write for along with a 2012 pin. The letter was thanking me for all my hard work with the websites and newsletter, then I got to the bottom of the letter and I couldn't believe my eyes. He wrote that our partner resort Lake Benua Vista Best Western in Downtown Disney could provide my family with a free 7 night stay since I work for the newsletter, but the offer had to be used by August the 1st 2012. I had to read it again and once more for it to set in... and by no surprise I started to cry:cry::cry: I mean just balling my eyes out. :lol: My mom said what in the world is wrong with you! So she read it and started to cry :lol: well after a good hour or two of off and on crying I could compose myself long enough to start planning:faint: I couldn't and still can't believe it!

So we picked May 12th-19th for our stay, it worked out best for us because we will be visiting family the week before in VA so we will leave the dog there and drive to Florida. So a 2 week vacation, a week in Disney with Epcot Flower and Garden Festival (first time!!) and the first Star Wars Weekend of the year (also our first time!) We can't wait and now to begin more planning!:yahoo::yahoo:

What a great story! You will love Flower & Garden Fest, it is gorgeous. I loved going to work there everyday during my CP just 'cause it was so pretty!

Oh and on facebook I've decided to do a 100 days of Disney Memories, starting on the 100th day in the countdown I will post a Daily Disney Memory every day till the 12th of May! Should be fun and a good way to countdown the days.

Update to our plans now. We are going to go to Universal Islands of Adventure purely just for Harry Potter and only for one day. Then Thursday we will be going to Cocoa Beach to watch the ships leave port Canaveral.

congrats!! im gonna miss you by a couple days, i come down to wdw on may 22nd!

Yeah I'm excited to see Harry finally but not thrilled about spending that much money to see it. No... lol we will have to take it as it comes, we will probably just do a quick service every night or wait till we get back to the hotel to find something.
