While we realize he won't remember this trip as he is only 15 months old, we also realize that we'll never forget it. Of my 25+ trips, this was by far my favorite. Mainly because We were able to see our son take in the splendor that is Wdw. From breakfast at Chef Mickey's, to that initial stroll down main street, to having his hair cut for the first time, to riding on dumbo, he was completely in awe. Sure, Hurricane Isaac dumped some rain on us, but that didn't stop us from having our most magical trip to Wdw to date.

We are cast from the same mold. It is all about the family once little ones enter our WDW vacations. My sons very first trip was at 14 months, learned to walk the day before, made for an interesting trip.

Day #1 DTD falls on side walk bump on head, I ask for ice at first aid, one minute please. Paramedics come busting through the door a few minutes later.

DD first trip 2 mths old. Had her days and nights mixed up since birth, never slept at all over night (and I had a 5 year old).
Asleep in her big hospital type crib in WDW hotel at night! Wake up in morning, she slept through the night, Disney makes us all tired. DH and I debate who has to go poke her to see if she is alive in that crib. (not kidding.)

Tip: I made a picture book of first photos just for DS of his first trip to etch into his brain. He looked at it every day.
