Here we go another trip report from Mckayla.
Background on this trip

My mom, dad and I all need a break from Smalltown Ohio so we decided to do WDW todays ( sorry Lou, gotta add this because it is most of the trip) Reunion. We stayed at Pop Century and was there from Wednesday night to Monday night.

Wednesday....
After going to school...What a waste of time that was. I was o to Disney World for WDW Today Reunion ( I feel so odd talking about this here but it was most of my trip so yeah). After a pretty uneventful flight down (the worst part was it messed my right year up so much.) we got to Pop Century. After check in we went to have dinner at Everything Pop (or whatever it is called). Of course I got chicken nuggets (always have to be my first counter service meal). My daddy had a salad ( they now have the salad bar thing like AoA has), he loved it and they put so much in the bowl ( Two suggestions... let them mix the dressing in... My family is odd and we always ask for our dressing on the side, it taste better and is easier to stir and what not if they toss it all together. Also ask for a plate for easier eating... I found it was hard to eat with the bowl they gave you because they cram so much in there). My mom had the roast beef sandwich...she thought it was ok. After dinner we walked over to AoA to see of my best friend Kayla was working but sadly she was not so we walked around then we went back to our room to call it a night.

Thursday
The first day of Reunion and the first day in the parks. Today we were at Magic Kingdom. We got there at a lovely hour of 6:30 am. After the morning show we were off to Space Mountain and tomorrow land. Somehow my mom and dad got the highest score possible and i had like 2100 points.Then it was time for exciting thing #1 of this trip and that was seeing New Fantasyland. Oh my gosh I am like at a lost of words for that area. We did the story time with Bell. I kind of have mixed reviews for that. Parts of it was amazing but other not so much. The things I find amazing are the animatronics and the rooms and how there is a lot of crowd participation. The only thing I did not like is after the show you have to stay in the library till all the pictures were taken. Durning the show I was a laughing portait. After we had breakfast at Gastons Tavern. We all got the cinnamon rolls. In my opinion they are better then Main Street Bakery but I seem to be the only person to think that. The Tavern is really small but themed so goodly. Back to the cinnamon roll. The frosting is really good and has a maple taste to it ( not like overpowering just kind of a hint of it) then there is like maple swirls in it. Oh golly I ate mine in like no time. After we ate we went on the Little Mermaid ride. Also so great. The queue is themed amazingly but it is so big. It may have only felt that way because rumor around the parks and reunion was that there was only 200 people at Magic Kingdom durning extra magic hours and part of the morning. It was dead. After riding little mermaid we rode Pooh. One of my favorites then we rode Peter Pan (it was walk on... PETER PAN WAS WALK ON). Once we got off it was around 915 so we went over to the Contemporary to sign in and get out stuff for Reunion and to see the Gingerbread house. The Gingerbread treewas so great the detail in the stuff was kind of mind blowing. After meeting up with Matt,Len and Beci we were off to the Poly. I was kind of dissapointed in the decorations there. After that it was Grand Floridain time. The tree was so pretty . The Ginger Bread house was amazing. I just kind of stood there for about 5 mintues in complete awe. The detail was breathtaking ( I will be using this phrase a lot in this TR). Back to Magic Kingdom we went. Straight to Aloha Isle to meet some Reunioners and attend the Mike Scopa Dole Whip meet. After dole whip a group of about 85-90 of us went over to Be Our Guest for lunch. (this was actually a meet were Len Testa payed for our meal) we got a meal for every person at our table and we shared. My table had a steak sandwich, a turkey sandwich, a ham and cheese sandwich and the Quionna( note sure if I spelled that right)... All was really good. I really liked the Quionna and the ham and cheese. The steak sandwich was ok not what I expected and I did not care for the turkey. I was surprised I like the Quionna because I do not eat stuff like that. The dressing on the salad was good and man I am missing that meal. The ham and Cheese was so good. It was thick slices of ham ( like ham off a bone) and then was really cheesey (I think it was Swiss) the bread was this gain bread... It has like sunflower seeds mixed in and oh my gosh it was so good. After lunch we rode pirates and jungle cruises. The mermaids at cool at Pirates. We actually got a really good skipper for Jungle Cruise which is a good thing. Now it time to explain one of my favorite Reunion meets. It happened at the CoP. Before we all got on (again about 90) The helpers handed us skirpts of a sence from the ride. We all bored and then after lines we had lines to read back to the stage. They were so funny. There was actually 2 people who were not part of our group and left durning the first scence. Which messed up the show but we had a lot of fun. After COP 2.0 my dad and I rode Astro Orbitors. I was really really dissapointed in that ride. Now it is another Reunion meet at the TTA. So we rode that. After we went on Buzz and somehow I beat my mom and dad (that has never happened in all the trips down). After that we had dinner at Pacos. Of course we all got the bacon onion ring burger. After dinner we rode the TTA and then got a spot to see the show on the castle and Christmas Wishes. Again Breathtaking. Then it was time for the parade. We were by the market thing in Liberty Square by Hall of Presidents which was a great spot to view it. The parade was so great. I really liked how the pipe in smells that went along with the floats. I also love the toy soldiers. After the parade we saw the Christmas stage show and then left. By the time we got back to our room it was about 130am. That is like 16 hours in Magic Kingdom. We were all so tired that we barley made it to our room to fall asleep.

Friday...

After our late night on Monday we got up the great hour of 7 am. Once we got ready we were off to Hollywood Studios to be there before 830. The park did not open till 9 but we were getting the rules and question sheets we need for the Lines Scavenger Hunt that we did. So at 9 we started looking for the clues and stuff ( I forgot the questions) while looking we fastpast and rode Toy Story Mania. We also got to hang out with my favoirte boys....Phineas and Ferb At 11 we went to find the results to the Scavenger Hunt (we did not win but we had fun.). After the hunt my dad and I went to the Tower of Terror Meet for Reunion with quick stop to see my main man Handy Manny... I was also going to see Jake (from Jake and the Neverland Pirates) but his line was to long. That was a lot of fun... During the pre-video thing we talk along with it. The cast member said it was the coolest thing ever. We filled about 3 elevators. After Tower of Terror my family went over to Fairfax Fare for lunch. There ribs are so good (but so messy). My mom and dad got the chicken and they said it was really good. After lunch we were off to go back to Pop for some much needed nap time. After nap time we went to dinner at Everything Pop (or whatever it is called)...My dad and I both got the Salad again and my mom...well I really do not know remember what she got. While eating dinner this Cast Member walked by and I was like Oh my gosh that is my best friend Kayla. So I quickly finished dinner and went to the gift shop and surprised her. It was so great and magical. She is now a manger at AoA but covered a position at Pop. I have not seen her in about 3 years. After talking to her for about an hour. We were off to go back to the Studios for Lou's Meet of the Month. After hang out there we went over to by the Hat to wait for Reunions special event to start. Finally 8 came... the park was closing but we got to stay after. While waiting for the crowds to clear out we got to Ride Toy Story Mania... just Reunioners ( Well people who booked with MEI). After riding we waited for about 20 minutes in Pixar Palace but it was no deal we got to meet so many nice people. Finally we were able to move on to the Osborne Lights. Oh my gosh. It was so amazing. There was about 200 people there so crowds were pretty low. When we walked in we were handed a gold box which had so much yummy desserts ( a mickey rice crispy treat, a bag of ginger bread balls, a caramel cake, a cranberry cake and peppermint brownies). I am in love the light. I have like no words how to describe it. After the amazing time at the lights we went back to our hotel for bed.

Saturday
EPCOT!!!
We started off the day off with a nice ride on Soarin. Breakfast at Sunshine Seasons. I had a cheese Danish, mom had a chocolate Danish thing and dad had a apple muffin with like caramel and nuts. After breakfast we rode Living with the Land and then Soarin again. Once off we walked over to see if Test Track was open...sadly it was not open. It was time for our first Reunion Meet of the day and that was Nothing Bad Happens in Tianamnon... After watching the video my family went off to have lunch at Via Napoli. Man oh man that is like one of my favorite Disney restaurants. First off the pizza is so good and second off the men that work there are pretty easy on the eyes. Our meal was a combination of pepperoni pizza and mushroom pizza, some salad ( I was not a fan of the dressing) and fired calamari ( can I say yuck). Another thing is the men are so funny. Our drink person was named William. He also brought us our food... As a 17 year old girl I really was not pay attention to our food and William went to put my pizza down and he was like... Pay attention to the plate... It's hot. Can I marry him is the question I asked my mom once he left. After our amazing meal we waited to see the Christmas teller in Italy. She talked about how she was not able to make it see baby Jesus so now every night she goes around looking at the faces of the children looking for Jesus. Once she was done we saw the group of sisters who perform there. If you have not seen them I say you should. They are so funny. After we saw them we walked over to ride the Norway ride with a quick stop in Germany to watch the glass blower and the German Christmas teller... She talked about the nutcracker. After Germany and Norway we were off to our second Reunion meet of the day which was Nobody's from Skagway. We all rode Spaceship Earth and said we were from Skagway Alaska. That was fun. Except Skagway is not on the map of Alaska. After we rode Nemo and Friends ( I love that ride so much) and Journey into Imagination ( another ride I love). Once off it was around 430 so we walked over to The Odyssey for an special event. Here we had dinner ( rosemary chicken, roast beef, baked vegetables, mashed potatoes and bread). Then they put on a game ... It started off as Prices Right then switched to Pyramid. Hosted by the blonde lady from Adventure Club. In the middle of it we toke some time out to watch a live recording of one there podcast episodes. After the dinner we had a Illuminations Reflections of Earth Dessert party. The desserts there are so good. Can I just I love the Holiday tag of Illuminations. After the fireworks were over we were escorted backstage to go into a side entrance to The Land to have a private riding of Soarin. Once we got off we went back to our hotel to sleep.

Sunday!!
We woke up around 7 to be at Animal Kingdom by 8 well that is what the plan was... well then we learned that the park did not open till 9 so we wound up having breakfast at Pop then went to AK. For breakfast my mom and dad both got the bacon bagel sandwich thing. They were not too thrilled with it. It looked nasty if you asked me but that is because there was a lot of egg on it. My dads biggest complaint is that the bagel part was dry (which must mean it bad because my dad eats his bagels really dry... at Panera they have to put his in the toaster like 3 times before it is done to his liking). After breakfast we made our way over to AK. There we ran into some Reunioners. After talking to them while park opening we walked over to the Safari (while our truck was passing the wheelchair truck one of the guys we were talking to yelled my name... It was funny...everyone in my truck looked at me weird while my family was laughing.) After the Safari we rode Everest. Fantastic like always... I kind of wish we bought our picture this trip... my dad and I were the only ones that rode it (mom stayed back...if you saw the picture from June you would see she does not like that ride...even though she says she loves it), we know where the camera is so we sat with out right arm horizontal and then our left arm was vertical with our hand in a fist with our left cheek resting on it and the most bored looking face on. It was the great. After we rode Everest...it was off to Dinosaur (mom did not ride this one either). For how lame that ride is I love it and I am happy I started riding it again ( first trip in "01 I got sick on it and stopped riding it). After Dinosaur we walked over to Camp Mickey Minnie to see the Lion King Show. Again another fantastic show. After Lion King we made our way over to the Counter Service Yak and Yeti place for lunch. My mom and I got the Orange Chicken and my dad got the Beef lo-main. Man that is so good and you get a lot. Also the seating area is really quite and peaceful. Then we made our way out of the park. Now I learned one major thing that Pop Warner kids are kind of annoying. They walked around the park like the own the park and are better then everyone and they were so rude. Once back at Pop my dad and I toke a nap and my mom started to pack up the room. Around 3 we left to go to Epcot for Candlelight and to see the Epcot area resorts decorated. We entered the park in in the main entrance then we walked all the way to the World show case Entrance and the left the park (what a great trip haha). We walked over to Beach Club and Boardwalk to see that Gingerbread stuff. Both were amazing. I liked how the Beach Club was a carousel and the detail in it. The found the one at the Boardwalk fun... I liked how they had Santa coming down the fireplace but there was a fire in the fireplace and I also like how Stitch was apart of it. Around 400 we made our journey back to Epcot for a 430 ADR at Nine Dragons. I love this place also. We did the Candlelight Dinner Package so we all got an appetizer, a meal and a dessert. For appetizer we got Pot Stickers ( so good, I fall in love with them... I could have them for my meal), Walnut Shrimp Toast ( my mom and dad loved this... I did not try it... I do not do seafood) and we got Shrimp and Chicken Egg Roles (this was our least favorite... Once I picked the shrimp out I thought it they were ok). For our meal I got the Honey Sesame Chicken ( one of my all time favorite Disney recipes...my mommy makes it all the time at home for me), my mom got the Sweet and Sour Pork with Spinach noodles ( I really like the Spinach noodles), and my dad got Kung Pao Chicken (he enjoyed it). For dessert we got the Coconut Rice Pudding. I had high hopes for this. I was picturing something that looked like "normal" rice pudding but we got this stuff that looked like Chili.Its was a deep red and soupy. None of us liked it. After dinner we walked over to Germany to watch the glass blower, hand make us a glass ornament. He is super cool and really good at what he does. We started talking and we found out that he has family about 5 minutes from my house. After talking to him for about an hour we walked over to Morocco to see how much Fez's are (they are $18.95 if you care to know) and we exploded the pavilion (we actually got lost in this pavilion). After getting lost in the pavilion we went over to Japan to shop in the store and then we got in line for Candlelight. Our host was Andy Garcia ( I still have not seen anything he is in but he was a fastasic reader). Candlelight was so breathtaking... I was like in tears at one point because it was so beautiful. After Candlelight we walked over to Japan to watch Illuminations Reflections of Earth (brought to you by Sylvania...a Siemens company). Again I loved the holiday tag. After the show was over we walked strolled out ( I was kind of disappointed at they did not play the Mckayla Song [ the song they play after the talking in Tapestry of Dreams...it sounds like thy are saying McKayla] after they played Promise). Once back at Pop we finished packing then went to bed.

Monday!!
Our last day in the parks so we decided to go to Magic Kingdom. After seeing the opening show we rode Big Thunder Mountain. We rode about 3 times in like 30 minutes. After riding Big Thunder my dad and I rode Splash Mountain then we rode Pirates. After Pirates we went to Lunch at Plaza... where I got to meet the Fire Chief of Main Street! For lunch I got a pumpkin milkshake and a Philly cheese steak sandwich with Chips, My mom got there Angus Burger with Chips and my dad got the Reuben with fries. I really enjoy this place except it is really really small inside. I also find it cute that they choose a mini mayor of the day (not the term they used but that is what I am going to say). After dinner we walked around the Emporium and then left for Downtown Disney. We shopped around the World of Disney, the pin store, the Christmas store and D-street. After shopping we left for the Airport. After going through security we had McDonald for dinner (man I was missing Disney food already) and they flew home. The one thing I found cool was that you can see Christmas lights from the plane.
