Mission Space?

Just got back yesterday. We stayed at Wilderness Lodge on Concierge. This was the second time we stayed WL on concierge. Found the offerings to still be very nice, but definetly noticed a cut-back in the amounts & choices. The cast members were still the best- very friendly, always helpful, and always had a "welcome home"- one of our favorite things about staying on property!

The one thing we noticed to be very interesting. NO WAIT on Mission Space. We rode 3 times-never a wait. I can't believe people are still shaken by the young boy's death. Although it was extremely tragic, I find it hard to imagine that they think the ride was the cause of his death and not a pre-existing condtion. Any way- we took adavantage of having no wait.

My favorite "Magical Experience" this trip was my Anniversary present from my husband. We did the Illuminations Cruise. It was awesome!!
They pick you up at the Yacht Club dock at 8:15, and you cruise around Boardwalk, Swan, Doplhin & MGM. Then at 8:55 you dock under the bridge near France with a perfect view! Hope to have pictures soon!
My husband also ordered a dessert package with Tuxedo strawberries that came with a white chocolate Mickey!!

I see you have stayed at the Grand Californian, how does it compare with the Wilderness Lodge? They both are themed kind of the same aren't they? BTW Happy Anniversary!

The Grand Californinan was great. Yes- very similiar to WL. Really neat to be in Disneyland were it all began! The Grand Californian has an awesome view of the parks from the balcony. It's very strange to see how small it is after being in Florida!

Contemporary is our favorite too. We're planning our next trip now, and will be styaing there.
MS was great- we've been on it before this visit.
Like I mentioned, we were amazed at the lack of crowds.

How was the weather?

& HOT! Mostly in the high 90's, of course very humid.
We only got rained out one day. Major afternoon thunderstorms canceled the "Lights, Motors, Action" stunt show, but we got to see it later in the week. It was worth waiting for!!
