Hey, I live in Atlanta. Nothing beats the yellow season here.
I read this in Florida Today today. Just lovely. If you are allergic to pollen, and are visiting here in the next few months, read this article.
Yea, we have the awful yellow season too.
I go out everyday and spray it off the truck, patio, lawn furniture, etc......
Things I have learned living in ARKANSAS1. Possums sleep in the middle of the road with their feet in the air.2. There are 5,000 types of snakes and 4,998 live in ARKANSAS.3. We have four seasons: Almost Summer, Summer, Still Summer and Christmas.4. A carbonated soft drink is not a soda, cola or pop...It's a 'coke' regardless of brand or flavor. Ex...What kind of 'Coke' do you want?5. People actually grow and EAT okra!!6. Sweet Iced Tea is appropriate for all meals.7. You have to switch from 'heat' to A/C in the same day.8. All the festivals across the state are named for an animal, insect, grain, vegetable or fruit.9. You work until you are done or it's too dark to see.10. Everyone can't be an Arkansan: You have to be BRAVE to live here!
Great, I'm already packed! Now I have to go back and put in the medicines for all of us. It probably won't help either that we arrive the day the Flower and Garden show opens.

I went during the flower and garden festival last year, and it really didn't make my allergies any worse than normal.

Great. My husband has horrible allergies, even in Michigan! Thanks for posting this, so I can make sure we've got a good perscription medicine before we come down there. What a bummer it would be to have him coughing and sneezing the whole trip!
I believe in Happily Ever Afters.
