Chrissy, let them know upon check in at the hotel. You could also call your hotel about a week in advance. My dad took my mother on a surprise anniversary trip last November for a day (we live in Ohio, so that was kinda crazy!) Anyhow, my dad called the hotel a week ahead of time to let them know it was their anni and that he wanted to make it really special for my mom. The hotel had a great little kit for them when they got there. Champane. A photograph of Mickey and Minnie in wedding attire outside the MK that was signed Happy 25th Anniversary Mike and Cheryl! Love Mickey and Minnie. They also got anniversary badges which they wore around the short time they were there and got preferential treatment. For example, he took her to Circe du Sole and they bumped them to the premium seats. Hope this helps!
I'm about as All-American as they come!

Chrissy, I think you will want to call the resort directly...not CRO. I think I've heard Lou say on the podcast that they dump confirmed reservations from CRO to the resorts the night before five days prior to check in. At that point, the resort will begin assigning rooms according to availability. So, wait until five days before check in to call the resort, tell them that you are celebrating your anniversary and want to make it special for your hubby. They will be more than happy to accommodate.

I just booked my trip for december and I made sure every hotel reservation and dinner reservation I said that we were going to be celebrating our honeymoon!! She was more than happy to put that note on every reservation. I say you could call now and then remind them when you get there! Have a great anniversary!!!
