We just got back from our last trip a little over a month ago.
DH made perfectly clear that we would wait a couple years before we go back. Everytime we are leaving he makes our girls say "bye" into the video camera and states the year we will be back (which is always at least 2 years away.) Well, guess what? We are now trying to save for a trip next June. :yahoo: Now I can hope to start planning again. :hurray:
Yay for you....its always best to be either a) at disney, b) recovering from disney or c) planning for disney!!
We felt the same way. That's why we decided to "own" some of the magic and become DVC members. Now, we go to WDW 3-4 times a year!
LOL.. i wish i could make it there a couple times a year.. but my hubby only gets 3 weeks vacation a year and 1 i can plan the other he plans for himself and the 3rd one he uses for the week of christmas and new years
It is true, that going alot takes a job that gives you that time off. Lucky for My wife and I that we both get 5 weeks off a year. This year we have planned 4 trips to see mickey thanks to joining DVC!
I am so happy to hear that so many of ya'll get there that often! My wife and myself were first there together on our honeymoon in 88'!!! We went back in July of 01' when our youngest of 3 was 51/2 ( gotta' include that 1/2! ).The trip we took in 04' was a15 yr. anniversary present from the firm that I work for. I can't wait to see what they do for my 20th in 09'!!!? . WDW for 2 weeks!!!? They have already told me that if that is what I want, consider it done!!!!! I did'nt even ask b/c it is about a year & 1/2 away. They brought it up b/c of how much fun they knew we had on this last trip! My job may be CRAZY sometimes but the people that I work for are the BEST!!! This last trip ( July 10th - 17th ) we booked through a travel agent friend of ours & WOOOOOFFF did we get a great deal!!!
