weather in oct?

Can I get away with short sleeves, capris and possibly a skirt/dress? I'll have a sweater for nighttime as I bet it will get chilly.

Prepare for everything. My mom and I went last year hoping for nice mild days and instead we got record breaking HEAT!!! It was 95 or more every day and they even said that was rare for that time of year. Keep an eye on the weather up till the day you leave.

Somewhere there is a vedry similar thread, though I don't remember exactly where.... but I'll be down there Oct 8&9 and will try to get a revised weather report when I get back. But Lori is right, it could be 95 one day and in the 40s that same week. I usually double pack for that time of year. (even my Halloween costume! :))

yep i posted the first one... and i have heard from many florida people to be prepared for anything!!! so i will be doing alot of packing...LOL

We were in Orlando last October. The day we went to the park it was in the low 90's. My WI relatives that came to visit were very uncomfortable. Yet, we had 2-3 other days where it was too chilly to go in the pool. I suggest layers and check the weather before going to FL and each day before you leave for the parks.

Oh i am going for my honeymoon this year Oct 15th so i hope it is nice weather , But i was also there last october and remember swimming and the nights were cool but not freezing and the afternoons your could definately get away with Capris and short sleeves maybe even a tank :) happy Park hopping every one
