Hey all, got a great tip if you're getting the Disney Dining Plan. Here's a way to really make it worth the cost. Wolfgang Puck's Express at Downtown Disney. It counts as a Quick Service Meal, and I must say not only was the food incredible, but the meal for four of us would have costed $70.00. I don't think there was an entree on the menu for less than $12.00. And then add drink and desert and you really get your money's worth.
Also if you have a child that's just about 8 or 9 and has a bigger appetite than the Quick service kids menus can supply, order him or her a regular meal. At quick service locations they don't really push the kid menus on the children. The plan only differentiates the ages on table service.
Example. We just came back from Disney World and upon check-in, when they gave me the Dining Plan starting balances for credits,(2 adults, 1 junior, 1 child age 8...for 8 nights.) it was listed as follows:
24 adult table service
8 child table service
32 quick service credits
32 snacks
I couldn't believe it. Definately made out in long run. Hope these tips help!
