| dessert while watching illuminations- UPDATE with review My travel agent said this is something that is offered to large groups(different than the Grand Gatherings I'm guessing). It's not on the boats but a reserved section for us to watch and we get a dessert buffet. Have you done this? TIA

We are doing a Fantasmic dinner buffet(at the very back of the show area) for around $25 pp.

| Re: dessert while watching illuminations? For Wishes I love eating at the castle and finishing right before the show so as soon as I walk out, I'm in the first row for the show! =)

| Home at last near Mickey! | Re: dessert while watching illuminations? I wonder if this is similar to the Tikifest Dessert Party that's being held on August 6th? I'm looking forward to this. Fireworks and food; a good combination.

You can have any size group, it's just that the size of your group will determine where in World Showcase you are placed. The menus start at $22/pp. We're doing one as part of our Disney wedding but if you contact Disney dining (I think) they can get you more info.

| Re: dessert while watching illuminations? Update to this It was fantastic!! I'll do it with every group I go with from here on out. The kids loved it. We had ours on the patio that is right over the bridge from France as you near the UK. They had about 3 different kinds of brownies, all sorts of cookies, some other type of dessert and a cooler of all the ice cream treats. We had coffee, water and some other types of drinks. We were there about 30 min before the show started and had an entirely uninterrupted view. They let us hang out as long as we wanted to afterwards to miss the crowds on the way home. It was well worth it! |
