| Love Bugs Has anyone noticed if the Love Bugs have been bad in May? We used to go every May but my daughters got so sick of the little buggers we started going in June instead. But I have heard that maybe they haven't been so bad the last couple of years. |

| Re: Love Bugs Those nuisance little black bugs that fly around in in a pair attached head to tail. They don't bite, they don't sting, they just love to land on humans repeatedly which drives my daughters nuts. The last time we were in WDW in May (three years ago) they were horrible. We stopped going in May. |

| Re: Love Bugs The Wiki on lovebugs says that they have 2 seasons when they become a nuisance, and their flights last from 4 to 5 weeks: Late April through May Late August through September We were there during the last week of September of 2006. They were absolutely awful. There was one particular moment when they flew over the feature pool at CBR and you either had to get into the pool or get out of the area because they came through by the millions. They are also bad for your clothes. If you sit on one and squish it you will never get the stain out of your clothes. Here is a picture I pulled from the Wiki page. It looks like CBR - Aruba bus stop, correct me if I am wrong ![]() |

| E-Ticket Holder | Re: Love Bugs They were a little late this spring. I didn't see any until early to mid June. There didn't seem to be that many of them either. During the time that they would normally have emerged, in May, local news had a human-interest "where are the lovebugs?" story in which they interviewed a local scientist who said that they'd probably be delayed due to the weather (it had been an unseasonably warm and wet spring), but that they would be here eventually although probably in smaller numbers, which appears to be exactly what has happened.
